  • Yes, lets pay $28 for a piece of fabric that is sewn on one side. Seriously, even a child could make one.

  • everyones talking about this scarf I think it seems cute and practical for travel. was intimidatd but this vide shows how to wear it with sass and class. thanks!

  • i got one of these for christmas, i dont know what i did without mine! i love it (: thanks for the ideas on how to wear it. and, your right, it is overwhelming when you first open it!

  • ....you know, there's always Fabric Land.

  • you are so pretty!

  • it's one of my favourite pieces ever.

i got it in navy. :)

  • HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

  • I love videos like this. Thanks so much.

Oh, and you are very pretty.

    Cheers!

  • Which color is yours? Heather grey or slate?

  • I think that hers is what they call "heather gray" on the american apperal website (the dark gray color is called asphalt).

  • i so need one of these!

  • omg my friend has been wearin this since christmas and I'm like what is it she wears it so many diff ways

  • You can get a pashmina for $5.oo on any NYC street corner and do the same thing - many different colors and patterns. I am sorry, but I believe this is a little overated!

  • i have been eyein this for months....im so happy i can actually see it...

  • No offense, but you could have saved the $28 and used an old flat sheet. That thing is hideous!!!!!!!!!!! You look like a homeless person.

  • and why wouldnt i take offense to you saying i look homeless? i can understand that you may not like it though

  • It's not YOU that looks homeless, it's that...hmmmm....SHEET. Or whatever you're wearing.

  • oh ok, you said "you look like a homeless person" in the first comment, hence the confusion

  • I am totally buying this! Can I ask what color you got yours in?

  • slate i think

  • That is so CUTE You were working that scarf Girl!!! Going to check out the site now Thanks!!!

  • i like!!!

this piece is very versatile and functional.

    this a definite fall/winter must-have.

i'm going to purchase 1 or 2 in different colors. thanks for sharing.

  • It seems like this piece would be better for the fall/winter than spring or summer. Nonetheless, still a good piece, and well worth the $28. You definitely can't say that about most things at american apparel. I still love them though lol.

  • probably if you want to wear it as a scarf but if you want to wear it all the other ways it would have to be much warmer outside. yeah they have a lot of overpriced gym clothes huh...

  • great find!

  • I'm so buying one. thanks for sharing

  • its similar to a kenny wrap. the idea of both pieces is to improvise. you can do anything with it.

  • yeah, there are lots of similar transformer pieces like this, there are dresses and stuff like this too

  • no i won't be purchasing that towel

  • LOL, you just made me spit out my water

  • lol, i'm glad i made you laugh later,,,

  • Yes maam.. Thanks I am definitely going to pick this up

  • I think I saw this at the mall and on the video she made some cute dresses. Ill check it out

  • thanks for the vid!

  • Thats super cute and great idea the cost is affordable especially since you can do so much with the scarf....I am glad you post this I can't wait to buy...thanks!!

  • aww wow! that is really hot! im loving the color!

  • This is so cool! Great video - thanks.

  • Well if it's made from remnants, that's a plus. Cuts down on waste, which I'm all for. It is a resourceful piece, so it's worth the $28 if one were to take advantage of the different methods.

  • Cute and creative, I'll agree. Being that I sew, I can't see me paying $28 for one. However I guess it's a cool piece to invest in for those that don't know how to stitch. Not to mention, you looked cute in a few of the techniques shown. I love convertible items.

  • i was thinking about that, mentioning sewing it, since the store even states that it's made of remnants. I can sew but I am much too lazy, it would probably be around $5 or $10 at the most if sewn huh. Thanks for pointing that out since I forgot to mention it.
