Despite its possible security and privacy risks, Cloud Computing has benefits that the public sector and government IT organizations are certain to want to take advantage of. Watch Nick Carr's video on What's in Cloud for Global CIOs and Employees.

Listening to this sounds as if we have to work less.
Unfortunately If things get done easier you will be given more things to do or you are going to be paid less. So, you still are going to be too busy and have no time to play with your children.
What pisses me off is that there are liars and slime scum that would create and participate to produce an advert like this. Sexy voice, exploitation of relationships, nonsense like "the cloud will get to know you by making you more productive",etc.
@gespilk i agree, its total rubbish. cloud is total control of ppl. Its the last step, Ppl voluntarily submit their most private and business things. Any biz man or woman wants to transfer his or her financial secrets into a cyber?
Great video. This is so concise and clear. I love the last line that stating that the future is not to far off. All this can truly be done today (except maybe for the wristwatch computer).

what is the benefit of the cloud? Big brother has all the benefits. I dont mind having
my own storage device. Why would i want to transfer my data to un unknown entity?
Thats opening the gates to total govt and other control. Beware,
