Tour of the East English Village neighbourhood in Detroit

Actually, The neighborhood that the video starts on is in Morningside on a street called Audubon. It shows East English Village when it turns the corner onto Outer Drive. It is still a very nice neighborhood with a strong neighborhood organization.

audubon and outer drive, I know it well. It was a nice area...20 years ago when I lived there. The house at :32 was really nice inside...back in the day. I know it was a foreclosure a couple yrs ago. Now you have loser crack heads walking up and down the street. lots of break ins If you could push a button and make all the crack heads disapear, it would be a nice area again.

@andrzejewski1960 There aren't any crackheads breaking into those homes. The city doesn't allow it.

@bigtown The city doesn't allow it? I grew up in that area. I lived at 4151 buckingham for 23 years. Great back in the 70s and 80s. I still have some friends that live on buckingham (too broke to move). I won't even go into that area unless I have my pistol on me. A guy from the freep lived there recently, he left and wrote a story about it. He said his daughters were watching TV when a brick came flying through the front window. Give it up man, a turd by any other name is still a turd
