  • I remember watching this on Nick JR. back in the day. As a die-hard 5 year old Star Wars/Indiana Jones fan at the time, it always made my day.

I think episodes like this paved the way for modern "crossover" shows and parodies of pop culutre such as Family Guy, Robot Chicken, etc.

  • Boobyprize?! XD

  • I used to laugh when Rowlf is stuck.

  • this is so cute! i love it =)

  • this look like matrix because when he answer the phone he return back,

  • '...You know, a moment like this could affect some bunnies permanently.'

I found that line absolutely hilarious when I was little, and it's still pretty funny today. Yay for deadpan.

  • So Mr. Worf transported his grandfather through time as Han Solo and Chewbacca crashed the Millenium Falcon as Worf beamed Captain Kirk up as Mr. Spock came and joined him as Geroge and Judy Jetson crashed their car as Han Solo and Chewbacca went to see a movie as Geordi spilled coffee on the controls as Luke Skywalker came to rescue Princess Leia as Indiana Jones finally saves Judy Jetson.

I loved sci-fi even wehn I was four, so I loved this episode, cartoons for kids were smarter then......

  • @obiwanobiwan13 Piggy is Jane Jetson, Skeeter plays Judy.

  • Ah yes I used to watch this on Saturday mornings! Ah Saturday morning cartoons...

  • this was my fav episode

  • quiet shut up my fav.

  • this video reminds me of my videos!!1 k

  • i so cud cry rite now i miss da 1990's soooooooooooo much

  • Lol. This episode is hilarious. Their imaginations almost collasped on top of each other in this one. And this might sound cheesy but if Gonzo was Han Solo, shouldn't he have been Indiana Jones too? Get it...

  • Dude is the Jim Henson fellow friends with Spielberg and Lucas?

  • Everyone knows he was. Those three and Copola hung out together. It was kind of a bearded directors thing.

  • @Iori400: Yep.

  • childhood memories

  • A Bill and Ted parody...wow

  • Wow, this is a lot funnier then it was when I was, like four. :)

  • I think most cartoons are like that.

  • bart voice?

  • I never caught all those adult-funny things when I was five, loving this show.

I love how Captain "Kirkman' still manages to get the girl, and I love how the say it's now the Next Generation. And Worf, and Spock, and Geordi- and did they call it the

"Starship Boobyprize?" And I love how Kermit's being Luke, Kirk, and Indiana Jones all at once, the cinamon buns on Piggy's ears, "Fuzzwacca" and the whole Jetson's bit..... classic.

Why can't they STILL make shows like this for kids?

  • "QUIET!! SHUT UP!" "QUIET SHUT UP"

  • Piggy: "I don't know who's writing this, but give him a big bonus!"

    XD!

  • Did they say Boobie Prize?

  • "Meet those spacetons. Stop that singing. Stop that singing. Kermit, fix it. Kermit, fix it. Sheesh, oh brother. Sheesh, oh brother. Quiet! Shut up! Quiet! Shut up!"

    ...

"Meet those Spacetons! Flinstones! Cleavers! Huxtables! Wilsons!"

    LOL!!!!!!!

  • I used to watch this around 94 and 95.

  • OOHH i think now you r like 20

  • I'm 17.

  • yeah.....and where are you going with that?

  • I don't know, I was wondering why litzy178 assumed I was 20. I have no idea where he/she was going.

  • i just thought you were 20 cuz u used to watch this show in 94-95, so you were LIKE 3 YEARS OLD

  • ok ok ok ok i got mixed up that was just a comment, you must think where i was gonna go with that, bye**

  • does he say boobie prize!

  • HAHA! The telephone booth reminds me of "Bill and Ted's Most Excellent Adventure". Where they bring Napoleon, Beethoven, Lincoln, etc...to the nineties...or the eighties...And bring them in for their history project. Napoleon ends up going to the waterpark and pushing everyone out of the way to ride the waterslides! XD

  • I Had This Movie

  • I think it's funny that so many are referring to this as a 90s cartoon.... This was 80s all the way, with the reruns showing in the 90s.

Either way, I'm glad they did show the reruns so not just us 80s kids could enjoy it. Too bad they don't still show it so more generations could enjoy this! Anyone know if it's available on DVD?

  • you said it! i remember watching this show when i was little. i thought it was from the 90's.

and, yes it is out on DVD.

  • All their voices are cute! I loved the different references to shows, especially Star Wars!

  • @restlesszander

I know what you mean. Muppet Babies paid homage to all of the greatest films of the 80s. Particularly, Back to the Future.

  • Oh my gosh, it has been so long! Yes, Nick Jr. played the rerund back in the 90s when I was little. I watched it everyday!

  • The Jetsons bit was great!

  • I don't remember this episode.

  • ANIMAL VADER!

  • a telephone booth? inspired by bill and ted??

  • ...well considering he then says "Radical!" lol, maybe.

  • No, the telephone booth was more likely inspired by Doctor Who...at least, it would be in keeping with the Sci-Fi motif...

  • the dog sounds like bart

  • No Rowlf and his grandson were voiced by Katie Leigh

  • That phone booth looks rather familiar...

  • love this show!!

  • this was SOOOO funny..especially the whole jetsons intro parody!!thank you thank you!!

  • LOL There is no Part 3. My bad.

  • come on it's hardly a Star Wars parody is it? We've had The Jetsons and Star trek. What the fuck is up next? Can't wait for part 3.

  • you dont have the whole thing here, wheres the songs?

  • i hella miss the muppet babies. any early 90's kid should remember this. wow. i wish they were still on. lol. i'd still watch em.

  • This beats the family guys parody of star wars lol

  • hahah not quite

  • thanks for posting this!! Glenda, argentina. yeah, here it was too a sucess when i was a child.. i miss the muppets so much!!

  • where did rowlf's collar come from? it wasn't in the first part.

also bill and ted parody's show up in this, maybe that should be in the tags/notes also.

  • when you time travel anything is possible. don"t think so linier

  • superhero secret

    "a wizard did it"-Stan Lee

  • Again, I don't think the phone booth is from Bill and Ted's...that was a nineties movie, this is from the eighties...it is prob doctor who, who(no pun intended) also had a time and dimension traveling phone booth...

  • Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure came out in 1989. This episode aired in 1990.

  • wow this is so cute, i'm shocked i never saw it before as i was a huge fan of the show.

  • How it is possible for them to mistake Star Trek for Star Wars????

Como eles confundem Star Trek com Star Wars?

  • hey Leave Spongebob alone

  • wouldn't it rock to write something like this, knowing you are helping kids learn and expand their imagination?

  • starship BOOBYprize? lolz

  • kids' television today sucks compared to when i was growing up. I'm 17 years old and I can actually watch this show and enjoy it. I was dying when kermit just turns dead-pan into the camera and goes "Sheesh." Also, when he was trying to destroy the voice box =)

  • who's the rabbit?

  • Bean...he kind of appeared one day; after he and Janice appeared Bunson and Beaker never appeared again.

  • that bunny is cute.

  • are you cute?

  • Some would say I am.

  • Where you from?

  • Saint helena, ca.

  • cartoons like these gave kids introduced kids to using their imagination...i miss that

  • Bill and ted movie spoof ^^

  • "captain kirkman and mr. weirdo" LOLOLOL!

    as i a born in 1991

and i watched this when i was little

    but older than two obviously

or i wouldnt remember the tv show.

It used to be on before or after lambchops, also an amazing tv show.

    Anyone else remember that??

    HAHA

but ayee thanks fer puttin this up, a nice blast to the past :)

  • i gotta watch this when im on drugs

  • lmfao!! haha i used to watch this and drink my bottle with warm milk and sugar... man i missed those days... have nothing to worry about..just these shows lol

  • This is more like a mixture of "Star Wars" and "Star Trek: TNG"

  • Are you sure this isn't the Twilight Zone? Man I love cross-franchise paradoxes!

  • Animal Vader Classic

  • Animal as Darth Vader... YES!!!!!!!!

  • starship boobieprize? haha i remember this episode from wayyy back

  • from Nickelodeon and it re-ran on Odyssey Network

  • who knows how to get the muppet babies dvd box set? It's so incredibly rare

  • Woah, weird. I never knew This show used a Bill and Ted reference.

  • hahaha I had forgotten that Scooter was LaForge

  • At 04:55 Kermit looks like he's wearing underwear with that shirt

  • "Meet those spacetons. Stop that singing. Stop that singing. Kermit, fix it. Kermit, fix it. Sheesh, oh brother. Sheesh, oh brother. Quiet! Shut up! Quiet! Shut up!"

    ...

"Meet those Spacetons! Flinstones! Cleavers! Huxtables! Wilsons!"

  • "Meet those Spacetons! Flinstones! Cleavers! Huxtables! Wilsons!" HA! Too funny! Thanks for sharing.

  • This show was hilarious when I was a kid. I can't believe it still holds up, it's actually still funny!

  • phone cell

    matrix

  • I remember watching this when I was a small child. Its so much better than the cartoons on Nick junior today, which are supposed to be "educational" but really make kids stupider. I would take Ren and Stimpy, this, or Aah Real Monsters over any cartoon today.

  • Check out Scooter at 7:05! LOL!!!

  • Geez, how many things did they parody?

    Star Wars

    Star Trek, both generations

    Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure

    The Jetsons

    Indiana Jones

    Dr. Who

And a reference to the Twilight Zone.

    Damn...

  • It was the way the show ran, and thats why it was so brilliant

  • This really is funny! But why didn't you have all of the episode?

  • this show is amazing. i think its why im so fuckin weird and creative today, aha. oh boy, 15 years later and i still enjoy it.

    muppet babies FTW

  • yeh i agree kids are missing out today man. although i like sponge bob. its the only show from this era i liked. ironically i found out that most of the creaters of Sponge bob were creaters from both Ren And Stimpy and Rocko's Modern Life which is like my two fav cartoons ever
