they were available on VHS so i don't buy the "we can't get the rights to all the clips" line if they could get them for video they can get them for DVD
"Meet those spacetons!" Stop that singing!!!! "Stop that singing!" Kermit, fix it. "Kermit, fix it." Sheesh. oh brother. "Sheesh, oh brother!" Quiet! Shut up! !Quiet Shut up!" "Sigh", I hate this song! HAHAHAHA!
So Mr. Worf transported his grandfather through time as Han Solo and Chewbacca crashed the Millenium Falcon as Worf beamed Captain Kirk up as Mr. Spock came and joined him as Geroge and Judy Jetson crashed their car as Han Solo and Chewbacca went to see a movie as Geordi spilled coffee on the controls as Luke Skywalker came to rescue Princess Leia as Indiana Jones finally saves Judy Jetson.
I loved sci-fi even wehn I was four, so I loved this episode, cartoons for kids were smarter then......
Lol. This episode is hilarious. Their imaginations almost collasped on top of each other in this one. And this might sound cheesy but if Gonzo was Han Solo, shouldn't he have been Indiana Jones too? Get it...
I never caught all those adult-funny things when I was five, loving this show.
I love how Captain "Kirkman' still manages to get the girl, and I love how the say it's now the Next Generation. And Worf, and Spock, and Geordi- and did they call it the
"Starship Boobyprize?" And I love how Kermit's being Luke, Kirk, and Indiana Jones all at once, the cinamon buns on Piggy's ears, "Fuzzwacca" and the whole Jetson's bit..... classic.
Why can't they STILL make shows like this for kids?
HAHA! The telephone booth reminds me of "Bill and Ted's Most Excellent Adventure". Where they bring Napoleon, Beethoven, Lincoln, etc...to the nineties...or the eighties...And bring them in for their history project. Napoleon ends up going to the waterpark and pushing everyone out of the way to ride the waterslides! XD
I think it's funny that so many are referring to this as a 90s cartoon.... This was 80s all the way, with the reruns showing in the 90s.
Either way, I'm glad they did show the reruns so not just us 80s kids could enjoy it. Too bad they don't still show it so more generations could enjoy this! Anyone know if it's available on DVD?
Again, I don't think the phone booth is from Bill and Ted's...that was a nineties movie, this is from the eighties...it is prob doctor who, who(no pun intended) also had a time and dimension traveling phone booth...
kids' television today sucks compared to when i was growing up. I'm 17 years old and I can actually watch this show and enjoy it. I was dying when kermit just turns dead-pan into the camera and goes "Sheesh." Also, when he was trying to destroy the voice box =)
lmfao!! haha i used to watch this and drink my bottle with warm milk and sugar... man i missed those days... have nothing to worry about..just these shows lol
I remember watching this when I was a small child. Its so much better than the cartoons on Nick junior today, which are supposed to be "educational" but really make kids stupider. I would take Ren and Stimpy, this, or Aah Real Monsters over any cartoon today.
yeh i agree kids are missing out today man. although i like sponge bob. its the only show from this era i liked. ironically i found out that most of the creaters of Sponge bob were creaters from both Ren And Stimpy and Rocko's Modern Life which is like my two fav cartoons ever

I remember watching this on Nick JR. back in the day. As a die-hard 5 year old Star Wars/Indiana Jones fan at the time, it always made my day.
I think episodes like this paved the way for modern "crossover" shows and parodies of pop culutre such as Family Guy, Robot Chicken, etc.

I'm glad they cut Rolf's song out. When I was a kid, I really hated the singing on this show. I also hated piggy.
