The USA did join the war AFTER Hitler dropped his plans to invade Britain, and the US supplies to Britain were of course badly needed, but the `deals`that Britain had to agree to were very costly.

The USA did join the war AFTER Hitler dropped his plans to invade Britain, and the US supplies to Britain were of course badly needed, but the `deals`that Britain had to agree to were very costly.
