  • Lol my mum has that same computer but it's got lower specs

  • @GangstaHotdog I still see a lot of them in service. They must have been good computers in there day to have lasted this long.

  • @FUzzyBUnnyBOoties My mum has the pentium 4 model (not sure of the ghz) with 512mb of ram, it still runs pretty fast on a fresh install of XP. They had pretty big hard drives for their time.

  • @GangstaHotdog That was probable the model right before this one. They really were ahead of there time. I was surprised that this one had ddr2 ram and a 250 gig sata hard-drive.

  • @FUzzyBUnnyBOoties My mums has the 250gb hard drive and 512mb of ddr2 ram. When were they made?

  • @GangstaHotdog I cant recall off of the top of my head but I think this one was around 2006/2007

  • @FUzzyBUnnyBOoties I have one of these as well and it works just as good as it did the day it was new back in 2006. I really want to put a new harddrive and more ram and windows 7 :D but now its just the way it came

  • btw mine has a pentium d 2.66Ghz and 1Gb ram with 250GB hard drive

  • @twostepr500 Nothing wrong with that. I do think you would have to install more ram for win7 if I recall it is 2 gig`s minimal. But other then that it should be fine. You can Google the system requirements for window 7 and see what they are for sure. But they are not as high as most people would think .

  • @grenadesforballs That is a excellent idea :-)

  • mentholated spirits works well for getting rid of residue too

  • @jamesnuutinen I have never tried that. Thank you for the tip I will give it a try.

  • i have goo gone and got it at dollar treee. but it didnt work!

  • @Cookiejarmonster101 Some times you have to let it soak on there for awhile. Try to remove as much of the sticker as you can and then just let the Goo Gone eat away at the glue from the sticker.

  • it worked without leaving any glue and without glo gone

  • @sviridovt Which one worked?

  • @FUzzyBUnnyBOoties just gently peeling them off, the only thing is that the place where stickers were is much cleaner so you see a clean spot, but as long as it not sticky I am fine with it (and I think it will be same color again in a few weeks)

  • Heat Gun+Scraper+Safety Gloves+Paint Thinner

  • with butter an kitchen paper !!!!!

  • I have never heard of that before. Thanks for the tip.

  • It works perfectly on windows stickers ect...

  • I will give it a try.

  • i use wd40/lighter fluid to clean off the glue

  • I have heard of people using lighter fluid. The only problem with that is that it will eat through the clear coat on painted surfaces.

  • LOL aol

people still use that crap and they still put it on prebuilt systems

  • I am surprised they are sill in business. I havent seen a comercial for them in a long time. But I still get one of them disc`s in the mail every now and then LOL.

  • To clean the residue, you can use vegetable oil, just a tad, moisten it on a cotton ball, rub in the residue, and wipe off

  • That is a very good tip. Thanks for posting it.

  • Hot wet rag helps the stickers come off better

  • Yes it can very good tip. Thanks for posting it.

  • I know what you mean about the stickers, I just bought my daughter a laptop for her birthday..and man it is stickered up!! But I feel reassured as a consumer with all the stickers and they also give the laptop a kind of "sexy-ness" look. OH, and the free trial of "AOL-@ell" ya I'm gonna jump all over that...NOT! I gotta tell you, I was digg'n the machismo your machine was exuding with the stickers before you de-balled it. Nice video though..like always! Hey my second vid card will arrive today.

  • If you want some more stickers for the daughter I can send you the ones I took off LOL.

OK I must see a video of the dual cards when you get it installed. Do you still have your old card in a box in the garage?. Let me know I am still in need of pcie cards.

  • great video as allways. i allways do this stuff and even tho i knew this its still a great video for anyone who needs it

i like my cases very clean

  • Thanks Static

Guys like us are always anal about our computers. But for some reason some poeple think because a sticker is on their computer when they buy it that it should stay on there for ever LOL.

  • Nice video Fuzzy, but I found that spit works better than rubbing alcohol. The Goo Gone is something I've not used before and will give it a try.

  • The alcohol seems to give it a nice shine as well as killing germs that are all over the computer. But if you want to spit all over your computer then dont let me stop you LOL.

Thanks for the comment bud :-)

  • NEVER spit on your machine!! It is AGAINST the code!! And all will be punished for violating this rule!! RFLOL
