yer i got mine from zavvi (sum random shop) and i didnt have a guarentee but my ps3 started playin up so i went online and got the number for sony ps3 and i rang them up told them about the prblem and they sent me a new ps3 and it came within a week and they took away the old ps3 and gave me a new 1 i kept the same controllers and cables (easy as)

That same exact thing happened to my PS3 last night and it's the same 60gb model as yours. I was playing R6V2 online when all of a sudden my PS3 switched off by itself. I then tried to power it on again but got those same sequence. So I called Sony careline in the UK and they are sending me a new PS3 on Tuesday not bad going. I think Sony are aware of the 60gb issues which maybe is the reason why it's being discontinued.
