If you remember that episode where America tried to get dieting tips from other nations because he was afraid he was getting fat, you'd see that he was actually pretty lean and muscly (he mentions that he works out a ton despite eating nothing but burgers). According to the Word Of God, America's fear was only paranoia, because he was actually gaining muscle, not fat (Muscle weight more than fat). Because he got paranoid, he started working out even more, which resulted in him being this^ strong
