Not to get in on the debate, but "Change the World" IS the original opening song - I have the original episodes taped directly from TV in Japan on VHS (a friend of mine sent them to me back in the day). I don't know why VIZ changed it, but I can assume it's legal reasons - V6 is a Johnny's group, and they tend to be weird with what of theirs can and can't be used (like you can't use an actor's photo on a website, or something like that).

At first I wasn't into Inuyasha-I only watched 2 episodes and thought it was boring..BUT after reading about Inuyasha characters on wikipedia and Sesshomaru's character made me change my mind,not because of his looks,but because of his change of heart :) So I'm giving Inuyasha a second chance...everyone deserves it,even an anime ;)
