okay so i am having this problem.... but the thing issss i am already using a size E hook.. HELP! haha and i am already doing a single stitch around..

@millfeather Thats ok, Just drop down probaly 2 hook sizes so that your stitches become smaller/tighter.. if you need to decrease the size more, then use a few sc decrease sttiches :)

Thanks so much for showing how to fix this problem. I have made a hat just to find out I made it too big and I didn't ever know what to do so I would just rip it out and start over! Thanks for saving me time and hassle! Thanks for Oregon, USA!

@McLemore83 I used to do that too !!! i THOUGHT TO MYSELF THERE HAS TO BE A WAY .. no more wasted time and sometimes you can get a really nice slouchy hat put of it :)
