No fucking way!!! I was at Oyster Bake 5 and a half years ago and fell in love with AB!!! I remember it so vividly. I went out the next day and got One Day Remains. I can't even tell you how I played that CD out that summer. I've been such a huge fan ever since. Wow, this really brings back a lot of memories.....

@AlterBridge81 - You're part right. Tremonti sings the backing vocals during the chorus and most of the bridge on 'A Thousand Faces', as well as the backup vocals on the other 3 albums. Eric Friedman is friends with Tremonti; they hired him for the reunion tour. In Creed, Tremonti doubled or tripled most of his tracks, so by adding Friedman they could get more of a natural "album" sound for the live shows. Friedman DOES in fact help with the vocals, but that is again only during the live shows.

@AlterBridge81 - My point was that Tremonti has a really good voice, he doesn't use it as much as he should, and he tends not to get credited for it. Stapp's and Kennedy's voices stand out on the cd's, however if you listen closely Tremonti is usually in the back singing as well.

i think they speed up the songs if theyre covers because the dont want to lose the audiences interest if the for some reason dont like it. if metallica played it they wouldnt speed it up as they know the audience will like it so they can put more soul etc into it.

@JamieandhisIbanez They speed up the songs to help the vocalist. It's harder to carry a high note longer, therefore, bands usually speed the song up. And also, sometimes bands struggle to fit their set list into 90 minutes so upping the speed helps that as well. I've played in a few bands. :)
