i have a rossi 22/20 gauge and i was wondering if i could just bought another barrel or a whole new gun

been looking into getting the 12 gauge barrel if this works

Hey Millerusaf would it be posible to saw off the stock and make it a pistol grip or is the bolt keeping the stock to the fireing mechanism too long and would have to be cut down....you see i want to make a perfect pistol grip

The lever on my Rossi Rio Grande is stuck to the trigger mechanism somehow, Anyone know how to fix this?

This was my first gun 9 years ago fro christmas mine has no safety and i dont think it needs one. Its always gonna be my hunting shotgun and i LOVE this gun.

I got the same gun (almost) but is called deer/turkey combo, 12 gauge smooth bore

3 1/2 " , but mine comes with chokes... my question to you,,,, can I use slugs with this gun? can I us 2 3/4" or 3" beside 3 1/2"? this is my first gun, so I do not know much about this stuff....

@caibarien71 you can shoot slugs out of a smooth bore just won't be as accurate easily able to hunt deer with it tho

eh, the 870 is a fine gun....but the ithaca model 37 is the way to go. one of the finest firearms ever made. my favorite gun in general. for upland birds, i go 30in barrel, ribbed, full choke....with that tight fixed choke, shots pattern better. #5 shot at 60 yards through trees....dropped a flying pheasant. weight, fit and finish, the way it shoulders....i just had to give my opinion. the price is right for thenew ones, but a used one that would actually have been made in ithaca would be best

Nice I maybe ordering one w/tactical stock 6-position, pistol grip, and heat shield. The park district here will let us shoot traps if it's a shotgun ,but only one rd chamber at a time. I also have a 870....These are nice to shoot

If you want to buy a pump I suggest a mossberg 500 persuader. In my opinion far superior to the 870. You can change barrels and switch from a stock to a pistol grip or vise versa. Lastly, my favorite part is they hold 7 shots in the mag tube with the plug removed. For the price you can't beat it.

You can do the same with the 870s (barrels, stocks, etc...). They are running around 260-300 dollars in my area, depending on the specific package.

The 870 is a fine pump. I owned one a few years back and constantly had ruff ejections where the spent shell didnt want to leave the chamber. I believe it may have been just a lemon. I could be wrong but I haven't seen an 870 stock weapon that held over 5 shots in the mag tube with out an extension. To some thats not such a big addvantage but that extra shot or 2 could make all the difference in a bad situation.
