We Homospains are Hackers. Yup hackers we Human Race are hackers, we hack your computer, your cars, EVEN YOUR BODY. SO STFU AND DON"T IMPLANT ON TO OUR BODY MAN YOUR RUINING US.GOT HACKERS TO DO THE STUFF.
It would have no effect unless your car is made to use the higher combustion point gas. The higher octane's only purpose is to not detonate before the piston is at the top of the stroke (knock). Cars that are designed to create more power, create more heat from compression, turbo, etc. So the fuel may detonate too early requiring higher octane fuel. They label it "premium" to mislead ignorant people into thinking they need to pay more.
you can't go on strike, even if you don't drive, you use like 50 gallon of gas a day, the food you eat, the stuff you wear, the things you watch on tv all takes gas to make
just keep using gas and be happy, and work more so you can afford $5/gal gas
now if u got guts to stole gas;showme some balls and u all go in strike MAY 15;ALL THE TRUCKERS,FACTORY WORKERS,SERVICE WORKERS,STUDENTS,TEACHERS going on strike to stop the gas prices and bring them down to a $1 a gallon;so all the hackers we need u on this one on may 15 on support of all u fellow brothers in america do some thing about it ;jam the web bring everything down untill the prices of gas and liberty and freedom are back.remember MAY 15 ITS a strike day untill the end.
LOL no protest is going to stop gas prices, you silly AMERICAN, protests are no better than bitching in a blog, just stfu and pay the Illuminati owns you!
Even if this were an RFID issue it would be an Exxon implementation problem not a prob with RFID itself.
How come hackers never say were were able to unlock a locked hash based Access control tag? How come I never here, we got past a Silent Tree Walking reader?
I agree completely that alhtough there are security risk in RFID all these woould-be hackers are kind of sad.
The point about security cameras is very valid. Multi facotr security/authenitcation can address liability issues.
Although this seems very Clever, there is a LOT of substance missing. The system must validate the "Simulated Tag". Where did that ID come from? Was it randomly generated? Sure anyone can write data to a tag but without knowing the Data format, Checksums, CRCs, and a valid number it is a crapshoot...just like trying to guess Mom's PIN number for her Debit card...only harder.
Clever yet not so smart. Good mug shot of the criminal. Cameras at the station have mug shot and shot of lic plates. Stealing gas is a Federal crime which means Federal prison. You need a disguise and fake lic plates

Nice, we need hordes doing this.
Watch-out, (bank decree) law enforcement can correlate time-of-sale to a security camera photo though... wear a hat and glasses.
Why would you hack and pump 'regular' gas? Go for the hi-octane shit.

What you're taking advantage of is the extra additives, and not the higher octane.

In that case he should of gone with Chevron (now with techron) :)

RFID is slavery.
amajetich 3 years ago 10
RFID is not slavery. It is a tool that can be used for good or evil like any other tool.
Fight the masters, not the whips.

very true but it is better to not allow them the whips in the first place to prevent yourself from being whipped.

more likely he actually "Skimmed" someone else's valid RFID tagged card ahead of time. (hopefully one of his own)for this demo.
