solution for the problem at 32:21 : take two containers, and just hang the body over the middle so that one side is in one container and the other in the other. then anything thats deep in the container will be eaten away, and the rest should just fall over to one side on its own. problem solved.

anyway, the humor in this series is so dark that they went for the most spectacular failure. actually, almost nothing can eat through a bathtub, except for the drain which is exposed metal.

there are 4 different acids with each one halogen-atom and one hydrogen atom, from strong to weak these are HF, HCl, HBr and HI. Just like reactivity goes down from Fluorine over Chlorine, Bromine to Iodine, so does the reactivity of the corresponding acid. Fluorine gas will cause your skin to ignite & burn on contact, Chlorine gas will still cause chemical burns but not nearly as bad, Bromine will discolor your skin but is not so bad, iodine can be used to disinfect wounds.
