Moves are performed to look more painful than they are, or look more impressive than actualy damage dealing, wrestlers sell damage to make it seem more painful but the bottom line is they're more or less stuntmen performing a choreographed (though most of it is made up on the spot by the two wrestlers) fight. It's still grueling, painful and dangerous work.

Then again in Japan a lot of the punches and stuff are actually real. Although sometimes so called injuries are just for storylines (like Shawn Michales' eye)but generally they are just fuck ups.

if you watch the person being slammed VERY closely at the moment of impact they do what is called a "proper break fall" its taught in MCMAP (Marine corps Maritl Arts Program) and various other thing what you do it tuck your chin tight against your chest to protect your head and you extend your arm or arms and slap the ground/mat to help break the fall. now yes it still does hurt but using your arms like that "steals" some or most of the impact to help keep from gettin the wind knocked out of you

wrestling is scripted not fake. Sometimes in Japan wrestling companies the scripts have to be altered because someone actually gets knocked out cold. Then again in Japan a lot of the punches and stuff are actually real. Although sometimes so called injuries are just for storylines (like Shawn Michales' eye)but generally they are just fuck ups.

if you watch the person being slammed VERY closely at the moment of impact they do what is called a "proper break fall" its taught in MCMAP (Marine corps Maritl Arts Program) and various other thing what you do it tuck your chin tight against your chest to protect your head and you extend your arm or arms and slap the ground/mat to help break the fall. now yes it still does hurt but using your arms like that "steals" some or most of the impact to help keep from gettin the wind knocked out of you

no your wrong they do not plan the winners before every match you go to the wwe you get involved in a match and then come back and tell us that it's fake until then you can't say wrestling is fake and it is ALL planned then how do people get injured if it's fake? how people get knocked out or bleed or break a bone or just can't stand anymore if it's fake? what do they plan an injury to do they plan for you to bleed get knocked out get attacked from behind can you answer that one smart guy

People misuse the word "fake" and demote the entertainment using that word. Wrestling isn't a film where you have a stunt double doing the dangerous stuff for you. Everything hurts, you can't fake a 20ft drop. You try falling backwards off a ladder and say that didn't hurt. Punches or slaps, they still hurt. What your referring to as fake is actually called Scripting. Stop mixing the words fake and scripting. We have a word for it, it's called kayfabe, and it doesn't mean fake.

The same thing happened to me in school in wrestling to my right quad
I can max out at 150lbs but I was laying down on the machine doing a measley 120lbs and i just ripped right of my knee cap
hurts like hell
I missed a full month of school and I missed 2 seasons of wrestling and 3 football seasons

omg, i had a knee cap injury by twisting my knee 45 degrees to the right, it also seperates my muscles from the knee, and my knee cap wasnt at the right place, which makes it difficult to walk. and im having surgery next year, hope i dont need the rehab.
