@proteus64 perhaps it is frightening. the level of xenophobia in greece is staggering, the "medieval" treatment of immigrants is well documented by various EU organs, and it is a fact that greece is the only member of state of the EU that does not separate religion and state. it is also the case that greece supported serbia to the hilt, even after the EU began a near unanimous round of condemnations of belgrade (& Pale) for the massacres in Sarajevo, the rape camps, ethnic cleansing, etc.

@proteus64 all of that was in the name "solidarity with our orthodox brothers" (the serbs). there are blatant examples of greek govt officials offering state honors to visiting "dignitaries" from serbia, such as milosevic, karadzic, etc. and the greek orthodox gangster clerics provided financing and some even encouraged greek volunteers to go to serbia and fight a holy war against some imaginary medieval ottoman enemy.
