the use of symbols is not idolatry. we have pictures, and statues of great ppl (George Washington, etc). The Eucherist ORIGINATES in sun woship. In other words it comes from the Egyptian belief that god is in the "bread" it was later adopted by Catholicism even though its roots are pagan. The eating/drinking of the wine and bread is biblical, but not in the form of the sun and not to be worshiped as a "god". I studied aacheology and theology as well as philosophy. One does not trust the Holy spirit by rejecting entire Books from the Bible that Jesus himself accepted while he was on earth. These are Baruch, Tobias, Maccabees, Esther 2, Judith, Wisdom, and several chapters of the book of Daniel. I respect Scripture but I do not respect foolish rebellion against the authority that Jesus Himself gave to the Church on Earth. This authority was not scattered like so much fairy dust but was granted directly to Peter. after God changed his name.

The Bible is written in Koine Greek Not i Attic Greek Which makes a distinction between Petros and Petra. So Rock Means Rock. Also lets not try to use Biblical metaphors comparing God to a rock or a door to cause confusion and try to refute Biblical truth. Peters was first and when listed with other apostles Peters name was listed last. He also had the last word at the Counsel in Jerusalem. Even The Greek orthodox Church begrudgingly calls Peter "First among equals"

We believe That God Created Adam and Eve. In fact in 1987 I read in Newsweek in the November issue that Two teems of genetic scientists determined that all of our genes came from one Woman. Who could that Be. We have Peters bones but Jesus rose and ascended into heaven. I believe the whole Bible not just bits of it, i believe that God made the earth in six literal days, Adam and Eve were created on the 6th day and then God rested on the 7th day, sanctified it and hallowed it making it a rest for all time, the Sabbath of the Lord is a day to worship the creator of heaven and earth, a day to glorify him and enjoy the splendour of his creation, the Lords day is a glorious day full of blessings for those that are faithfull.

Since you believe that your church has "authority" to interpret and change the Scriptures, don't you find it strange that they teach you things that go against the Scripture? Jesus commissioned the apostles after 3 years of training. He gave His authority to them to forgive sins that only God can forgive. this is not to be confused with the general exhortation for each Christian to forgive those who offend them personally. In other words if you kill someone I have no authority to forgive you. Only the victim can do that or a Catholic Priest. Only Catholic Priests have authority on Earth to forgive sins. Thiscame directly from the mouth of God.

Yes, I have done over 7 years of research int o actually. Symbols are used to explain beliefs, of course many use them unknowingliy. But placing traditions over the word of God is something protestants feel very strongly about. Now matter how beautiful and artistic, if it is idolatry then it is commanded not to take part of. Now I am not talking about trivializing everything under the sun, but Paganism being incorporated into Christianity is an oxymoron. It simply can not be. They are opposite.

the use of symbols is not idolatry. we have pictures, and statues of great ppl (George Washington, etc). Christ taught that money was even an idol. an idol isnt just a statue. it can be other worldly things. an idol is something you place before God, worshiping it as God. i do not worship Mary, or the Saiints. i do not put the crucifix, or statues of the Saints above God. of course i honor them, and show reverance by kneeling or kissing the feet of them, but in no way do i worship them.

Hey girl! So glad you found me :) I did order that book... but they sent me the wrong one! As I knew they would.. they sent me the version taht did not have illustrations in it after I told them thats what I wanted.. but I lost all my books along with geez... musta been over $600 in new books from the previous 11mths or so :( But I would like to get a new one!

The Eucherist ORIGINATES in sun woship. In other words it comes from the Egyptian belief that god is in the "bread" it was later adopted by Catholicism even though its roots are pagan. The eating/drinking of the wine and bread is biblical, but not in the form of the sun and not to be worshiped as a "god". I studied aacheology and theology as well as philosophy. I love the subject and encourage any discussion on the matters!

Personally, I believe in the reality of the mass & Eucharist - and Transubstantiation. But I am not looking for an argument or debate on it:)
However, like many other things in the Church, what is sacred has often been covered with (or occluded by) occult symbols. I can readily understand what you say about the Monstrance itself; but that is an "add-on". It is unecessary
It is via lack of faith that the Vatican has added practices/symbols of pagan origin.

You should check out Ratzinger's personal Papal Coat of Arms. It has:
1. a black beast
2. black king
3. the occult Shell of Minerva
4. an obvious phallic symbol
5. no papal tiara, only a bishop's miter (legitimacy of office holder....)
One should also consider the original Number of the Beast: 616...it is the number of a man.

The funeral rites for pope JPII were loaded with illuminati symbolism. Quite interesting. Actually, you might say it was more of an Illuminati jamboree:)

All of those symbols are occult - despite the carefully orchestrated spin.

All that you say about symbolism is correct, BUT the Eucharist is NOT sun worship. It is Christ; not mere bread, due to Transubstantiation.
Yet the Vatican has surrounded what should be sacred with many occult symbols. This is evil, and there is no denying it.
