I remember this song was played when you finally got down into some mines in the Cloakwood Forest to fight the ultimate bandit boss(the powerful archmage). It was hard because there were some powerful etherial ghost-like soldiers in full plate! Scary stuff.

@Agent1W right, i plaeyd it not long ago again, and these full plate soldiers came after th fight with the mage..... i thought, "oh god, what shall i do now??", ....

@Dabidapp I think they were like Phantasmal Soldiers or something. Supposedly they had a Conceal effect that you had to roll against before making an attack roll or something.

@Masterferret7 Yay, I agree, I still have all three games (With TOTSC as well) and I currentlly playing them again at the moment from BG1 to Throne of Bhaal, Right now I'm in the Middle of BG1 as a Neutral Good Female Conjurer with a party of Imoen, Khalid, Ajantis,Kivan, and Minsc and heading towards the Mines once i complete a few quests (just finished saving then abadoning Minsc witch so He'll stop complaining about leaving LOL)

Gorion's Battle theme is one of the great pieces of music from any game ever. It really embodied the feeling of relentless hacking and slashing, the unstoppable nature of the heroes on their quest.

The guys at Bioware have always done outstanding music, but this is their finest piece. It wasn't so long ago that all we expected from games were cutesy little melodies, then we had Baldur's Gate, Heroes of Might and Magic, and Simcity step up and raise the bar with movie-quality music.
