If a player has a game save of Ico and runs a copy of Shadow of the Colossus, the white mark on the horse Agro's head in the game will be the logo of Ico instead.

God, why did Ueda change the concept just to make it more "artistic" or something? The concept of having multiple characters playable at the same time would've been awesome in SoTC. I mean, this footage looked badass; it would've been a much better setting like this instead of some unnamed hero alone in a huge wasteland killing stuff because unknown entity told him too.

The game wouldn't be the same if it was more than one person. SOTC is more about self-discovery. Besides if the game had been like the video here, then all the sadness and guilt of killing innocent colossi would be gone. These guys just seemed to do it cause it was fun or something, not for the faint hope of ressurecting a dead girl.

Actually, the only truly "innocent" colossi were the flying ones. All the others attack you first, not to mention that they were mostly just a shell housing Dormin's essence. I just thought the concept shown here would be more appealing (at least to me) than the somewhat depressing one we have now.

And another thing; Ueada has never really tried to focus on the plot; most of the 'plot twists' in each game have something to do with the gameplay, and I really doubt the producers were hoping you'd feel "guilty" for killing the colossi. It's kind of like feeling bad after stomping on a koopa, crusing it under your huge plumber body mass.

i perdonally think Nico SHOULD come out but as a sequel to SOTC, i mean by the looks of it it would seem more like SOTC than Ico, i think since Wander turns into a baby at the end and thus proving life can be prsent in this area, it should be based on Wander as an older boy again with his mates or brothers taking out more Collosis and saving themselves from the colossus wiping them out from the land which they now live at (i still think the end to SOTC was a BIG disappointment)

I don't like your basic idea. It lacks the majesty and solemnity that made SOTC a classic. If they make another Ico-world game, it doubt it'll be a direct relative of either of these games. If it is, it will probably be only weakly linked, and hint at the greater story-line.

From what i've read, people believe the dead girlfriend you save in SotC is the Dark Queen in ICO and the tower you're in in SotC is the ICO castle, it's just been built upon and flooded over the centuries.

Not really, I doubt the two games are THAT close apart; I don't know much about ICO, but apparently horned children first started appearing and were sacrificed a long time before ICO started. Unless the queen was immortal or something, I doubt it'd work.

SotC is believed to be the PREQUEL to ICO, because of the ending story (what happens to Wanda, and who the girl really is Etc. Etc.) But the true sequel to ICO will be on the PS3.

exactly, this was GONNA be made as a sequel for Ico but they changed their minds and made SOTC as a totally different story, and its funny cuz there AIN'T MUCH story to SOTC, kill 16 colossis, save the girl and get cursed LMAO, but this looks good because it cud've been multiplayer, the concept of a team effort makes it look good for a game
