Bmw cars are very controllable and predictable . My porsche is wierd at high speeds abouve 100 and in entering corners. The e30 m3 I owned was by far the best cornering car I ever had but my 87 911 gets me laid. (;

You have to wonder if he might be able to modify the rear end, install mini tubs and run a couple inches wider rubber in the back, then lose the concrete. I would assume that would give him the traction without much added weight. I'm sure it would be a lot of work though, and the car is great as-is.

Maybe the concrete in the trunk idea has it's downfalls hehe. Adding weight to improve traction has it's disadvantages.

My v10 building and johans is bad to compare. He buildet the engine just for racetracks. My car have with Vanos on the Dyno 556hp. With the original ECU and fuel management have the S85 much more performance. My car have an 6 Speed gearbox, Steering, and brakeservo. The OBD is also working!
