@Athenatious I've heard many diehard D&M fans were not able to watch Marlena with Roman, which is sad because they had a great storyline, but totally understandable. To me, it would have been like having J&M in love all those years, and then having Marlena end up with Roman in 1998. That would have been a slap in the face to all the J&M fans, so yes, I feel your pain :)
I have to admit, it was the twin storyline that got me hooked on Days. I remember it was over a Summer break....DON & MARLENA was one of Day's first Super Couple. They were never the same after DJ's death. That to me was one of the most senseless death of a child on daytime tv.

i must agree to a point with ya...although i like marlena better when she was with roman! see i thought don was the better of the two guys, but marlena was too dependent when she was with him. she was quite feisty and independent when she met roman. i like her better that way!
Yup. And I have to agree with you on that. I like Don more than Roman (when he was still a nice guy that hadn`t cheated) but I like Marlena better as she got older. :)
Def!!! She just gets better as she ages...My vision is to have marlena be independent again and bring back gene!!! and then have john start to woo her again...like dating and stuff...they like missed out on all of that!!

I actually prefere Marlena with Don over Roman ( wayne) before he turned into an ass though, with the whole cheeting on her and stuff.
