it is a Azeri-Turkish song ,, but Aram Khachaturian - a georgian composer composed this Azeri National song as a sabre dance in his balet .. Be informed, please, it is a NATIONAL AZERBAIJANI SONG !!!
The part at 1:22 where the little "duet" is interupeted by the other people spinning around randomly is really funny! hahaha! I was hoping to find a better coreographed version of this song..anyone know a place where i could watch a different clip?
Really, this ballet is so ridiculously amateurish... Of course the music is simply amazing but is tragically let down by the *ahem* "choreography?"...
However turks pretend to be civilized they are the same hipocrits, liers, barbarians as before...
azeris never capable of creating something like this. All they do is kill, rob, steal, everything, cultures, land, history, traditions. Nomads, barbarians as always had been and would be...

Got it. They start out with normal feet, then they get deformed, so they have to wear special shoes that make them dance on their toes. They must be very dedicated to put themselves through that. Not to mention stone cold nuts.
Actually, most dancers start out with normal feet , then strengthen them to the point where they can dance in the specialiazed pointe shoes to prevent deforming of the feet from dancing on the tips of toes. Dancers who don't dance on pointe usually have fairly normal or weaker feet & ankles compared to those on pointe. Deforming usually occurs when insufficient training or strength is overlooked for the sake of aesthetics(appearances). Yes,they are dedicated;crazy, not more so than any athlete.
Thanks, now I understand that the crazy people aren't the dancers--they're just idiots--but the ones who pay to watch these idiots dance on their toes.
:) True- but you could say the same of anybody who pays to see grown men chase a ball w/ their feet, knock around a puck w/ a stick, throw an oblong cyllindrical ball around and tackle each other for it, and many other seemingly pointless pursuits.Everyone has their own idea of what constitutes idiocy or artistry, and the world is better for the diversity. I'm glad you're not afraid to watch something even if it seems absurd in order to broaden your experience.
This is where the dancers are supposed to show how good they are with sabres. Maybe it's just me, but that doesn't seem to be happening

Really? beautiful music, but choreography? eww... and the whole time they're just randomly jumping.... the dancers could not have liked this choreo.
purple97ify 11 months ago
dancers themselves seem good...just the person who came up with choreography...
Kittyrebeccalai 1 year ago
the dancing is not very good but not because of the dancers. THey are very good. THe choreography stinks.

Why are they all dancing on their toes? Are their feet deformed?

Dont you see that they wear ballet shoes?
hotshotkiller13 2 years ago
Hey, man, thanks for pointing that out. Do they wear them to hide their deformed feet?
acr08807 2 years ago
Well, deformed feet depends on how hard you train and how you take care your feet, not all the dancer got that.

I would say that about people who pay to see grown men chase a ball w/ their feet, if those grown men did it on tippie-toes.
