I'm interested in a thumbport. I'm relying on my RH little finger too much for balance, sometimes it is too tense. Would you recommend the thumbport for this problem?
Ok, if a person starts playing at the age of 43....how long would they expect to have to work at it before they are good enough to tackle a piece like this??? (and make it sound good)
wow...i'm only a grade 2-3 person...but im 13 so i guess ill get better problem is i have teeth everywhere so i have adapted to that so im preetty chuffed with myself...
anyway..you are very talented and you play so well, i hope to get tones like that some day..(and be able to get high notes)

This is one of my favourite things to listen to on youtube.
I've been playing the flute for about 6 months. I've just taken my grade 3, I got 91%. Hoping to take grade 5 in summer.
Really wish that one day I could become as talented as you on this beautiful instrument.
