@igorg003 well yeah, today you can get used ones for super cheap, but I bought mine 3 years ago brand new off a Harley dealership, so yeah, I paid full price... Well worth it to me since I now have 25k miles and it still runs like a champ :)

I love these damn bikes! It's a crying shame they quit making them. Basically the only thing close are the Ducati Monsters and the Aprilla Shiver, I would rather have a Buell. I have a Suzuki SV650 right now and always dreamed of upgrading to a Buell someday. Crying shame, Harley quit them right when they were on the verge of huge success.

I chopped it off myself using a cutting wheel :) About an hour of work, and it was not too difficult to make it look good.

@jezuz12345 yes, CF Jardine is crap... The exhaust tip popped off, ripping all the rivets thru the CF (happens to a lot of ppl), then the mounting clamp dug a hole thru the bottom of the CF can... POS! get the alu or titanium...

Did you have to re-map the fuelling when you put the can on?

@oxfordcure Nope... I reset the ECU that's all... it would be best to remap but it is not mandatory. I think EBR has a pre-mapped ECU for the Jardine (and other pipes)... I would not recommend the CF Jardine though... get the Jardine SS or the Hawk Performance exhaust...

Cool video! Its strange how tinny and loud the stock exhaust was. The new pipe seems to smooth out the sound and make it quieter and louder at the same time.

I just got an Erik Buell Race ECM programmed for a Jardine Exhaust fitted Buell, the difference is night and day. It pulls like a freight train now and no more popping or hissing in between gear changes.

@wave135 Idk I was paranoid about not getting the right ECM adjustments for the exhaust, and i thought the pro tune 3 fuel card would bypass that problem. BTW I have a XB12ss

@wave135 The reason I ask is because I am getting a Jardine carbon fiber installed, and I am also putting the pro tine 3 fuel card with it. The guys at Jardine highly recommended it.

@MrTyronePimp Interesting... It probably is a good idea... It took my ECM a few hundred miles and a reset to readjust properly, but I still get some popping at deceleration.... I am really happy with the bike now though... Btw, dont get the CF can!! Its very fragile (i had to rebuild it already)... Aluminum FTW! :)

That is a stunning looking bike. A tragedy Harley Davidson axed the only decent bike brand the USA ever made. In Europe Harleys are looked on as a joke bike but when a BUELL rides into town everyone takes note.
