It's apparently becoming a trend of some kind. I saw something like it on an Ellen Page YouTube video a few weeks ago. If a famous person dies, you will almost certainly not here about it from YouTube comment posts first. You will almost certainly here about it on TV news, newspapers, or internet news sites.
