@brandon223222 I already got new amps awhile ago. RF T1500 BD came in 1800 rms off the birth sheet. and i got a T400.2 250 rms per channel running the Type R components. I'm lookin to get a T600.4 soon with some nice focal kx2s for the doors. And if you mean the sub too, everyone can argue to the end of the earth that theres alwase something louder. The T2 is clean and i need that when its right behind my head. lol

@slipknotzi oh i know bro, i was saying the box, not the sub. i had a t2 and it pounded!! i had a box like that, than i got a SPL box for my T2 and it was 2 x louder. but i see ur working yourself up and that's a good thing.

@slipknotzi Hey man i took that one comment off, and i just bought a 05 denali. I have 4 12 inch L7's right now. 2-2200 watt Power Aquistak amps. Sounds GREAT. On my perspective you should get the Denali its nice. But the G8 would be pretty nice. Havn't really got time to make videos but i will soon. I'll let ya check it out.

@xllRigerBoyllx That box is built to exact spec for that sub. 2.25 cu. ft and tuned to 40 hz.. I got a RF T1500 BD now and it came in on the birth sheet at 1800 rms, so underpowering is no longer an issue...

well I decided to cut down on the system because it was going to be way to heavy. so its guna be 2 12" RE MXs 1800w rms each, 2 8" P2s 200 rms each for mid bass and 8 6.5" compoments 150 rms each for the rest.

Hey, this T2 was a good sub, the metal was strange to me at first though. some lightweight alloy for the cone, its a really deep cone mind you but I had a 15" check it out in my page. the old video of it was in a tiny box that was too small to power the sub properly. i never took a video at carlisle when I had 2 in my car (both 15s). the newest video is with my exact-rockford-spec box I built to the exact specs they give in the manual or found on the website with an aeroport (6"tubing!!!)

yes I know but its a good amp but somethinngg was wrong with mine the T2 would handle 2000 watts (its under rated too) but it broke it. didnt burn up the viol coils, just broke it... even rockford didnt know what happened...

Hey i have a ranger aswell and i was wondering if you had any other amp hooked up to the T2 before the PDX and if so were you able to tell a difference in either sound quality or loudness after the PDX install. I am currently saving up for a pair of PDX's and just want to be sure it will be worth the money. any help would be appreciated. System Sounds great by the way.

The pdx was the first amp I hooked it up to, but then it broke my T2 and 2 other sub setups I had... I sent the T2 to rockford and they didnt know what happened!! so I personally dont like the pdx and they have heat problems and no bass remote. I have a hifonics brutus 1200 watt amp for now(its cheat) and it isnt as loud as the pdx1000. but if your looking for the prefect amp go to rockford fosgate. their amps are under rated and the cleanest I've ever heard. well worth the money by far.

cuz your on paper physics vs. my acual experience with both setups lets me know that 1000 watts to 1 speaker is louder. cuz your splitting the watts the sub isnt producing the sama amount of bass. so surface area doesnt do much. they were 3 cvrs.

yah 2 500 watt 12s sound perfect in a ranger I had them for a lil while. but like you i had to 1 up my friend lol. but man the only thing that is bothering me is that headunit. did you pick up a pioneer from walmart or a mistary brand. those head units dont have low-pass filters and wont stop the bass from going to the door speakers, witch means your going to get alot of disortion at high volume. and sometimes those rca jacks on the back are for show lol.

do you have T1s or T2s? if T2s you cant put them in a sealed box they just dont work that way, idk. but if they are T1s sealed is fine. I like sealed boxes cuz they dony hit sloppy like vented and they hit you in the chest harder too. but the T2 dont work unless its vented. RF spec if .75 cu. ft btw. and make shure to seperate it into 2 chambers. 2 12 1/2 by 9 inch chambers would be perfect.

The PDX is an ok amp. They are known for gettin hot but I never had a problem with heat. Oh they dont have bass boost witch sucks. Hifonics are good definetly the best bang for your buck and the TXi 1008D isnt much bigger at all and it much better quality.
