To Christians: i am an atheist and if god loves me so much and really wants me to accept his 'gift' and worship him then why doesn't he make it easier? Why doesn't he come to me in angel form and prove his existance so that I believe in him? If he is omnipotent then he would do this. Its like a teacher that really wants a student to learn and do good in his exams but doesn't offer any him help at all.
This just goes to show you how weak minded people are and how much this religion is just a means of gaining follower through entertainment (bad music and preachings at that.) Most people of this faith have no free thinking of their own. Its a family tradition stuffed down the throats of generations. The book itself was written by exiled Jewish outcasts. well, there is a fault in the museum idea of dinosaurs. what would of happened, is that Adam and Eve would have been able to see dinosaurs when they were tame, but when they sinned, and God punished them, they would have no longer have been tame, so actually there would have been no children at the time. but yes, they dinosaurs would have walked the earth with Adam and Eve!

It's not about Science vs. the Bible. It's about good science vs. bad science. Naturalstic evolution is not good science. We have never observed nothing coming out of something. Also, the complexity of one cell is something that could not come about by natural means. As Michael Behe put it, "It would be like marking a grain of sand in the Sahara desert and having a blindfolded man find it, 3 times." Also the irreducibly complex parts in our body. The eye to name one.

Where is seperation of church and state in the constitution? Also, that idea is misunderstood. The first amendment has only 2 purposes, from historical understanding. That there would be no "Church of United States" and that the government cannot impede on the practice of religion. It is nowhere understood by our founding fathers that Christianity does not have a say in governmental matters. In fact, most of those guys were Christians and our country was founded on Christian principles.
My whole point is until any theory can pass peer review with even half the evidence of Evolution IT SHOULD NOT BE TAUGHT TO CHILDREN!

To Christians: i am an atheist and if god loves me so much and really wants me to accept his 'gift' and worship him then why doesn't he make it easier? Why doesn't he come to me in angel form and prove his existance so that I believe in him? If he is omnipotent then he would do this. Its like a teacher that really wants a student to learn and do good in his exams but doesn't offer any him help at all.

Because that is the just consequence of sin. If you break a law, you deserve the consequences of it, like paying a fine, community service, or going to jail. well, there is a fault in the museum idea of dinosaurs. what would of happened, is that Adam and Eve would have been able to see dinosaurs when they were tame, but when they sinned, and God punished them, they would have no longer have been tame, so actually there would have been no children at the time. but yes, they dinosaurs would have walked the earth with Adam and Eve!

It's not about Science vs. the Bible. It's about good science vs. bad science. Naturalstic evolution is not good science. We have never observed nothing coming out of something. Also, the complexity of one cell is something that could not come about by natural means. As Michael Behe put it, "It would be like marking a grain of sand in the Sahara desert and having a blindfolded man find it, 3 times." Also the irreducibly complex parts in our body. The eye to name one.

I feel sorry for you guys who buy into ID. Why deny real peer reviewed science when it comes to evolution, and then except the science that saves lives everyday?
Any theory that can not survive scientific peer review needs to be rethought. Intelligent design has been shot down at every angle in which it has been argued! (eye, irreducible complexity, cell arguement, etc)

Science based on reason, rational thought, and extensive peer review will win everytime!
George W. Bush appointed the federal judge in that case. ID lost bigtime!

Where is seperation of church and state in the constitution? Also, that idea is misunderstood. The first amendment has only 2 purposes, from historical understanding. That there would be no "Church of United States" and that the government cannot impede on the practice of religion. It is nowhere understood by our founding fathers that Christianity does not have a say in governmental matters. In fact, most of those guys were Christians and our country was founded on Christian principles.

My whole point is until any theory can pass peer review with even half the evidence of Evolution IT SHOULD NOT BE TAUGHT TO CHILDREN!
Just imagine what our world would be like if scientific research stops on the grounds that god created everything and there is no reason to ask anymore questions?
Seriously, PLEASE consider what this would do to our modern society! We do not need to slip back into the dark ages where questioning the unknown is considered a violation of some god's word!

Imagine what our world would be with being taught naturalistic/atheistic evolution. Did you see the Dark Knight? The Joker is the logical conclusion of atheism, utter chaos. You say we can't question God's word? Where does it say that? There are many verses that say to question and in Isaiah God says, "Come, let us reason together" We need to question and find the truth. And how come we can't question evolution? We always need to be asking questions and not be stupid people.

By all means question evolution! But you must have a viable hypothesis to do so! You can't just stop and say something is "irreducible complex" that is the exact opposite of science...THAT IS QUITING!

How is, how could or how would Evolution harm or create chaos? It simply shows how life evolved and will continue to evolve.

There are viable hypotheses, I just can't write them out in 500 characters. :). Irreducible complexity IS science, not the opposite. I brought up Joker because naturalistic evolution and atheism go hand in hand. With that mindset, you can't account for morals, you run into the naturalistic fallacy. Therefore, no one can say ultimately what is right or wrong. When that happens, men can do as they want and no one can tell them otherwise. Rights are given by God, as it says in the constitution.

You "Irreducible complexity" got blown out of the water in a federal court with a judge appointed by a creationist President!
At what point do you guys realize there must be evidence to support your so-called science? Where does it end?

I think you should look up the moral argument for God because you misunderstand it. I am sure if Behe was there, he would have blown that judge out of the water. I'm not the final authority on what is science or not but Irreducible Complexity is not disregarded as non-science. Christian or Non. At what point will you realize that evidence for macro-evolution is lacking? We are not going to solve this here, if you care to dialog further message me. 500 characters is too little for me.

Are you aware that some children are born with both male and female organs? Many times Dr. tell parents to pick a sex and they do but when the child grows up and the parents were wrong, what then? Well, some go back under the knife and some are happy being the way they are...

Dr's in most cases don't ask them because when that happens one is more dominant and it is pretty obvious what the child is. Sexual perversion, in a homosexual case, shouldn't be flaunted. We shouldn't be teaching our children to go and have sex with whoever and whatever they want. That's the problem, we have children raising children in this country, not men and women.

Actually, no.
I was a medical researcher in a human genetics ward
and I can tell you about these kids.
Mostly they are simply assigned a female gender
because that is surgically much easier and cheaper.
And many of these kids grow up dysgendered.
Yet the loving church denies them the right to marry
the people they are attracted to.
Stupid church.

Hi my friend. i believe that you asked a very genuine question. There are many religions in the world. In many of them, the goal is to bring ourselves closer to God through various means. example-meditation, inhaling substances. Im many religions, "God" is not a personal God. He is a high being that we must attain to, by our own efforts.
Religion is very important however.
