Grade 7, my class went on a field trip to this. Cause my memory is vague it's hard to remember weather my trip to Senca college, Don mills and Finch campus or this was the better experience. I really felt the motion at Seneca. Still rememeber playing Ninja Turtles 2 Arcade and Simpsons Arcade for the first time down there.
I went to this twice. The ride itself was pretty good, but it was just part of the whole experience. You had to fill out a passport on touch screens, which had all kind of crazy choices on it. I think my brother listed himself as "partially bionic". And at some point before getting on the ship, you got zapped with a laser that supposedly immunized you against alien diseases. I kept my passport and ticket for probably 10 years afterward.
It may have been a "big flop" commercially but the experience was incredible. I went on it about 20 years ago and the simulation of motion and speed was amazing.
I am in this video!!! At 0:16! Faking a Canadian accent. And I am still waiting for my royalty cheque! Dx

Sadly no. It shut down in the early 90s and is thought of today as a big flop :(
