I've watched or partial watched many videos and the one thing I find is that most of them end up with blotchy eye makeup. I like that (for lack of a better word) thick eyeshadow look....Now they all show to use a conceler or eyeshadow primer but they still have blotchy eyes. Was wondering if you knew why. Also Shape magazine Dec 2009 issue page 130 her eye makeup is beautiful would love to see you do something on it. It's kinda a deep purple. Anyway any suggestions would be great

Hey Selby, i wonder if you could do a nude makeup tutorial. Don't get me wrong. The "nude" look is sOoOo IN here in my place. People always commented negatively on my makeup as though i'm a drag queen or something (no offence, i love all those makeups but they always say it's too much). I cannot not apply makeup as i have not a very smooth skin. i really2 hope u'd do the video.

i totally agree with you on the sugar cosmetics kabuki brush.. i've had the same one for years and i use it every day, and i own the mac 182 which i paid way more for!! it's a wonderful brush. the handle on mine's peeling :p

That's a lot of brushes for a "starter" make up kit, unless you have the money to spend even brushes from say walmart are about 5 to 10 dollars a piece. I own 3 brushes and have owned them for 8 years and I've never needed any others and my make up looks just as good as if I had 20 brushes.

However, this was a nice explanation of the purposes of different brushes.

Good suggestions. Though, I think, too many brushes for a BASIC makeup equipment. If you have limited budget, don't need that many brushes, just the right couple of ones.

ALSO! If you buy MAC, buy the $10 eyeshadows & buy a 10dlr case to put them inside. Don't waist on $14 dlrs eyeshadows.

If you are looking for a replacement Kabuki brush, I HIGHLY recommend POSH Kabuki brush that comes with a black cylinder carry case.They actually carry 2 types, the one that comes in the black cylinder case is the better of the 2.
