I have 06 r6 with full ti force system, pipercross airfilter, added 2teeth rear, and NO pc and I dynoed mined the other day and got 117 with change. I was thinking if I get pc I can get over 120 easily. what do u think

on my r6r 2007 i have full exhaust system k&n and power commander and my bike made 110 at the bk wheel i thort that was bit shit i exspected more as i got told ther 133 at the crank thort with the mods i have done ad get like 120+

Get a speedohealer works well if you want accuracy. Remember if your speedo is off your mileage is too and when ya sell it it may make a difference

i received 106 hp bone stock on my 2009 R6 today, how much horsepower you think i'd have if i put on an akrapovic slip on, performance chip, BMC race air intake, and a power commander?

speedos are wrong....some have a 10% error, so subtract about 15-20mph from 183 and you get around 165.....which is about right for a 600

I havent topped out my r1 but i made the speedo say 174 and my GPS said 161. bike speedos are not accurate over 100

The dyno has been set with no resistance... and if showing 119... will be HP... My zx6r was done with both and showed 119hp then 107bhp! Wish people would say in description!

The max power or peak powerband on this bike is at 16,200 rpm's and also on a dyno they calculate in resistance.

so i have a question, after those mods, at what revs the bike reaches peak power, i mean 17,500 rpm kinda doesnt make sense in stock bike cause max power is at 14,500. so i guess after mod-ing the engine you actually get to use those 3000 rpm left ??

Not sure what your point is? This is a race bike with race gearing and a power to weight that is not comparable to your road going R1.

Shouldn't you be doing a 3rd or 6th gear roll in order to test power? Maybe I am mis-informed but this method doesn't seem too healthy.

That's correct (5th or 6th), this was just a blast that I recorded. We ended up with 121bhp in the end. Just got the 08 bike so will post some info on that very soon.

Well, I walked my buddies 636 and his bike has a full exhaust system and a K&N air filter so I wouldn't say that.

Very true, I put the K&N air filter on too, so I am gonna finish it off with the power commander. I am gonna have it dyno mapped cuz the downloads don't always work quite as well. God I love my bike!!!! LOL

I have seen the KR Tuned exhausts and they are a rebadged italian exhaust distributed by WRP and they are not that good at producing power.

The build quality of the TiForce titanium exhaust systems are amazing, they are hand built. TiForce are something of an emerging company as far as Europe and USA, they are well known in Japan. Pricing for a full Titanium system is similar to that of a full stainless from the like of Micron etc, excellent value! Cheers

It's a race bike with Power Commander III and TiForce full titanium race exhaust system. The bike is geared down slightly and Tuned on Dyno, Cheers.
