i liked this video, but at the beginning of this part, when you mention the coup, you forgot to mention that there was a "guerrilla" going on, and left winged extremists killed with bombs and bullets inocent, civilian people...Hope you didnt forget this on purpose!!!

wihtout question some of the Monteros were involved in the killing of innocents.However, the point in the video was about the inherent instability and the frequency of coups, which is why it wasn't mentioned. Nevertheless there is much more to this, including the fact that by 76 or 77 by the very latest they were no longer any kind of threat and were used as a excuse to hunt down "subversives." I may go into this a bit on my blog because it is an issue that should be better understood.

Superávit fiscal (3,5% /PBI), comercial (U$S 12.000 millions), 9% de crecimiento del PBI (cerca del 45% acumulado desde 2002), 9% de desempleo, tasas de interés bajas, reducción de la pobreza, auge en la construcción, industria y en el turismo, dólar alrededor de $3 hace ya 4 años, y menor sensación de impunidad.

When I was in front of the Congress on January 1 I saw some of the ugliest elements of Peronism, specifically Duhalde's supporters. That said, Kirchner seems to have been a pleasant surprise. I met Luis Zamora in 2001 and for me he was the working class's best option.

Of course you realize watching the videos that I am very much in favour of the working class movement in Argentina. It's just I beleive certain elements (not all elements) of Peronism have been very hostile toward the working class (especially when Peron returned in the early 70s).

About the "yankee thing" (you are american!!, Like me!!) i apoligize. But you must understand that the merlo "parade" (maybe its the wrong word), it´s a reflex of our society, 30 years ago we (argentinian people) can fight against militar economical power, workers and students togheter (cordobazo, a rebellion of the people against a REAL dictator, Ongania, a former student of West Point). Now the thing that you saw was a poor vs. poor's war, that's not peronism, that's abuse.

Being an argentinian working class is being a peronist,

I think that a yankee (american is a mexican a bolivian a colombian a canadian)have a wrong perception about Peron because you asociate him to the European Fascist, and you don't have nothing similar in your history (Roosvelt is the most nearest)
