As for not being able to date petrified wood, although it can't be dated by the usual methods there are ways of determining an approximate age i assure you.

If you type on Yahoo, "Did David Fasold Recant?" you will find a refutation of this claim. Fasold never recanted the Ark, and that is pointed out by actual quotes from him. Secondly, all the articles that you have cited actually claim that there is no pattern of iron at the site. You can't take their word at face value. I didn't. I went to Turkey to do a scientific experiment. And I found those articles to be in error. So now you're contending against my investigation.

Feral2k, my sample contains organic carbon. It's not volcanic tuff. Everyone knows that "sample" interpretation can have wide latitude. In other words you can claim that you had gotten a sample from the site and lie about it. But you can't lie about a pattern of iron. It's well documented.

So if only 10,000 deifferent kind of animlas went on the ark, we will ignore the fact all fresh water fish would have died, most plants and imsects would have died. That means there is .333 square meters for each animal on average!

It certainly has nothing to do with natural selection. Genetic variation. Genetic variation explains why children do not look exactly as their parents, but vary from one from another. Even Charles Darwin said, "I put too much emphasis in natural selection." And later, having read Mendel's great work, he abandoned all research, and went silent. You don't know what the word circular means. The claim is that there is a pattern of metal at the site. If you take a metal detector there and don't find a pattern of metal you disprove it. If you DO find a pattern of metal you confirm it. In either case the absolute stop (finding it or not) proves it's not circular.

Carl Sagan was fond of saying "Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence." A boat-shaped formation with iron patterns in it provides evidence that a boat may have been there, but it's a leap to say it conclusively proves it indeed was a boat, let alone it was Noah's Ark. There was no evidence that it belonged to Noah is my point. Too many Biblical archaeologists fit their findings into their beliefs and expectations, which is a decidedly un-scientific practice.

Archaeologists have NOT said that it is man-made, you're misleading people by stating this. They merely said (approx 20 yrs ago!) that it couldn't conclusively be ruled out. Like i stated in a previous message, they no longer feel this way as there hasn't been ANY scientific evidence put forth. There has not even been ANY petrified wood found there.

I've studied biology & i can assure you that i do not take evolution as fact because i am gullible. I take it as fact through stringent testing & through 300yrs of collated data. Darwin tried to rely on biological changes relying on mutation, and Mendel proved that changes are due to genetics, proving traits are merely shuffled around.
