  • no pressure...these blogs were filmed back in may bud so the pressures been off for some time eh.

However i do think it's time for a blank or too..

    tightlines matey

  • Up an onwards mate well done on the PB fella.

  • Just how a common should look. Long lean, and a beautiful rich colour. Very nice Steve

  • Yes it is a clasicc looking common and i would not mind holding it again for sure.

  • What a beauty...not you Steve the fish!! lol great blog mate, look forward to the next one.

  • agreed, cheers fella

  • awsome blog matey , loving that 29lb common , keep it up :)

  • Was a cracking fish and my best common this year too although i am on the trail of one much bigger at the moment.

  • nice common mate. lots of underwater features in such a small area ay. im sure you suused it in the end. i was down 'manicure' saturday and had a lovely 27.14lb common and a 24lb mirror within minutes of each other. was in 'dead mans corner'. hope you have caught since i text you last?

  • which number swim is dead mans? had one or two this last weeks.

Did you sit there for the rest of the day for nowt else then?

  • swim 28, u know the swim in the corner with tree line and lillys all in it? no mate i moved in to it on the back of the gale winds. i started off in swim 4. the mouth of the top bay. what lake you on now mate?

  • ahh! swim 28!

This swim features heavly in my blogs on manicure and my '5th Annual Fishing holiday'.

Do you put one under the tree on the left?

I had three twenties outa that swim in an hours fishing on more than one occasion.

Cannot say where i am but if it pay's off you will feel the ripples.....

  • yes i had the 27 common off the tree and the 24 mirror from the point/island that is actaully on the long bank.

i will feel the ripples ay, is that a clue to being close to my abode?

  • that common, did it have sore on it's right flank belly?

or a single scale missing form it's right flank?

ripples travel far on the grapevine eh

  • no sir, the common was scale perfect. but it hardly had a top fin (the correct name escapes me? lol).

oh dont you worry im sure the word on the street (lake) will end up with me knowing! lol. but more importantly are you enjoying your angling at the mo? as you was at a loose end when i came over yours?

  • too much choice sometimes but fun always

  • Again, loved it !

  • Cheers for watching bud

  • can't wait wats next hurry up and get the next one out steve great blog

  • Not seen the film myself yet.

It will take a 2 days to watch all the footage and another to discard half of it.

2 days to get the film down to 18 minutes or 2Gb.

1 day to add the credits and a final cut.

Half day re-watching it and adding final touches. It then takes the whole night to upload and another half day to process, re-checked and watched by me when it's on YouTube.

Of course I have already spent three days filming it too.

It' will be up soon mate, no worries.

    Cheers.
