Derek Peguest is back but Jamar Cheney is out for the year, but we have great backup linebackers and Tim Bailey can move up to linebacker from DE

I watched this game. I never could figure out why State played so badly for the first 3. I still wonder if maybe it was the fact that MSU was heavily favored to win. Maybe they came in thinking it was going to be an easy game, only to realise what was happening and turn on the burners in the last 8. Anyway, I really do hope Croom can keep it going there! I don't think MSU took them lightly because Coach Croom would never allow that type of mentality in his players. Ole Miss just came out fired up and outplayed the Bulldogs for the first 50 minutes of the game. Then, as you stated, they turned on the afterburners in the last 8 min after the stop on 4th and 1. Looking forward to see what they do this upcoming season. GO BULLDOGS!!!

It's the Egg Bowl, these games are always close, 9 times out of 10. Thank God it came out in our favor, though. This was truly one of the most exciting Egg Bowls in history. GO STATE!

I stayed for the first 3 quarters. Left after Ole Miss scored their second touchdown. Watched the rest of game on TV after Derek Pegues tied the game at 14-all. Definitely watched this field goal.

I was there, upper deck, band side, nearest to the field house. Damn, that was best game I've ever been to (and then I went to the Liberty Bowl). My uncle left, my brother left, my cousin left, and my aunt left. They all went to either go to Barnes & Nobles or go tailgate. They missed Pegues' return and Carlson's career long. I'll remind them of that for the rest of their lives, especially my uncle.

Wesley Carrol is a hell of a quarterback and is everything we needed. The Christian Ducre and Anthony Dixon combo is outstanding and Derek Pegues is just incredible.
