Nice unit, using one of this with my th2go setup. Work flawlessly for my needs.
Hooked up one gaming rig for running simulators and one quiet nettop which utilizing only one -middle monitor. It is very convenient to use this switch for adjustment of various accompanying game utilities while game is still running.
i also have two external monitors hooked up to my pc desktopm..
what i wanna do is..
be able to hook up my mac laptop to the two external monitors and have a 3 monitor display and ALSO have the same two external monitors hooked up to the pc desktop and be able to switch between the two..
i also wanna have one keyboard and monitor and audio hooked up to both comps.
That looks like a quality piece of equipment.I learned the hard way by purchasing a inexpensive one that caused many irritating problems! My mouse would often freeze and stick, the software didn't work with Vista, and the most annoying:once I switched the computer sputtered and crashed! Don't buy a Airlink...they suck!!!!!!!!!!
Great new reviews Dave, thanks a lot! It's also great having the option to view them in high quality. But what happened to the audio quality? It used to be much better in your earlier reviews and now there's a lot more background hissing
You would actually lave dedicated devices plugged into each individual computer, so I think the USB ports provided on this unit are enough for most users. Point taken though, a CS1782+Hub would be great.
another excellent unboxing/review Dave, you've got quite a knack for making each product you review sound appealing... looking forward to future videos!
Thinking about buying the one that is smaller, but wondering if it works with one computer and one xbox 360 instead of two computers?

clear and concise review. thank you. you could have shown it working though.
thinking of switching over to Mac but still need a PC for some apps and games.
this is ideal for saving space and money. great product.

Terrible review. It was not reviewed at all. All you did was tell me what the product sheet says!
How long does it take to switch between computers?
Does the mouse port allow multi-function mice or only simple emulation?
Same for the keyboard.
What's the max resolution that this supports?
These are important questions...

That is quite a nice KVM switch.
NeilJillett1996 1 year ago
Aten make dozens of KVM switches, but this one is the cheapest to support Dual-Link DVI, which is important if you have a 30" LCD monitor.
I am surprised you didn't mention that in the review.

Great video!
I was wondering: can you put a powered USB hub in the "spare" USB socket and use it to share extra peripherals?

sorry, I meant 4, which actually isnt so bad

looks good, only 2 usb ports is a let down however, as most computers have upwards of 6 these days, (desktops at least)
