  • What is the policy with tattoo

  • This Officer seems like a decent folk, and maybe he is, but a lot of these departments make their requirements to join a police force intentionally vague and confusing or discretionary. Its a political appointment. Remember that. You work for a guy (usually a Chief or Sheriff) who answers to somebody else. If your credit sucks, but your dad was the Captain's best friend growing up, or if you flunked out of college but you're engaged to a Lieutenant's daughter, you're in good. - From a Cop Family

  • This is garbage! I'm sure he's a nice man....but he know's absolutely nothing about winning a sheriff's election. If you want to know how to win a Sheriff's election he should watch the 2010 Election for Sheriff in Baltimore City....The first thing he said is you HAVE TO BE a LEO.....That is a lie, at least here in Baltimore it is....What is a Sheriff? Who does he represent? And Why is he ELECTED to office..? More Propaganda from the police....go figure!

  • @vr6ohmy -- why u try to start a business at 19 using credit cards. ur way to young to even fatham what a business requires and ur paying for it now.

  • Thanks for this informative video. I am in the early process of trying to become a NYS trooper and unfortunately now at 27, I have a less than stellar credit report, bankruptcy actually. It was all credit cards from being a 19 year old trying to start a business and it just didn't work out. It's competitive as hell to begin with and this would be the only negative thing in my back round check. I hope someone will be able to over look this small flaw.
