I purchased one of these Cammenga compasses (directly from the Cammenga website) and the dial sits uneven. I have used a level to test it and the North part of the dial is slightly tilted in the upward position, and the East side is tiled up as well. Does anyone else have this issue or is just me? I read somewhere that compasses can be made for 5 different zones, and perhaps that has something to do with it?
I got this compass today. After putting the compass on the table, I realised that the disc inside is not horizontal... The North arrow is pointing upward. Is this normal for this compass?
I didn't know how to use a compass until not too long ago, and it was definitely a lot easier to learn once I bought one to practice with. Trying to do it all in your head without a map and compass in front of you, and then remember it was kind of a challenge. After actually doing it a few times it's pretty easy. Nice compass man, should last you a lifetime.
Woah , woah ....I was gettin' into the music man !

Alice clip. They sometimes come loose at the worst times. We called them Malice Clips for that reason.

@killkill120 Amazon sells it for about $20 less than the Cammenga website.
There are two versions, one with tritium and one without... obviously tritium is the way to go!
