  • Nice Swedish AT weapon, great weapon to fire

  • Lol, damn bored here in South Korea. Just wanted to watch this video and damn its bct memories all over again, hahahah. I was the only lucky one to fire the live at-4 at basic because of my m16 qual

  • Fuck assult rifles we rush into the building with the AT-4.

  • USA AT-4 LAW ANTI-TANK WEAPON

  • @www41WorldUSAcom US made? AT-4 LAW? You seem to be mixing it up with the M72 LAW. Also the AT-4 is Swedish

  • army is for dropouts its all about the marines

  • @pze94

marines are the butlers of the rangers !!!

  • @pze94 your fuking retarded lol

  • Unbelievable, the AT4 is made by a Swedish car company called "Saab".

  • The AT4 is manufactured by SAAB Bofors Dynamics, not SAAB Automobile.

  • Why are they shooting it like this?

When I was in the army we shoot them sitting just like when you shoot a rifle, with your left elbow on your left knee, and sitting on your right foot.

There is no recoil, but you can get a "dump" caused from the weight of the grenade going through the pipe, so you need to support the front.

And also you get a lower stance, making it harder to get hit yourself.

Only reason I can find is to get up over your cower (due to the fins).

  • @profanum88

To be able to follow target.

  • @lonnback

You can follow target anyway, just like when your shooting with a rifle.

  • xD god damn at first I thought they were gonna shoot those all together in a group till I realized there were so many of them

  • 3:22 ... The glasses. Lol.

  • Marines are first to fight and first to die. Thats why they get less funding. You're cannon fodder. But really I have great respect for the Marines and the Army. Semper Fi! Carry on.

  • marines are not always first to fight

  • SEALs and Force Recon.

  • not always. For example first troops in Iraq were army spec ops and the invasion of Normandy was led by the army airborne divisions.

  • @Pvtm4a1 And they're not always the first to die either.

  • I would believe in most cases they would considering they deploy in 24 to 48 hours notice and the army takes like a week

  • Rangers take 18 hours. Green Berets less. who went to Afghanistan and Iraq (BOTH times!) First? The battle in Mogadishu? Army. Marines didn't.

  • sorry i generalized i was referring to Infantry. also you have no idea who were the first to enter Iraq bud

  • its firrst to fight last to leave

  • And people like you are the reason the whole worlds starting to hate the USA. Down the arrogance a bit.

  • Comment removed

  • u should die these are the people dieing to keep you safe show your respect

  • its out of context, you patriotic fuckface

  • Ahahaha this remind me so much of Ft.Sill... "Mother F*cker if you mess this up I will dehydrate your soul and skull drag you down to the end of this range"

  • wtf is this!? wheres the yelling and the "boy do u suck dicks?" "sir no sir" "bullshit i bet you could suck a gulf ball through a garden hose!"?

  • He's not a sir, hes a SGT

  • thats because the army is worth more then the marines..the marines are used tampons to throw away we dont need to properly train what we dont pay.

  • listen you idiot you have no idea what your saying about saying the marines are worthless

  • actually i do lol=O marines get none of the benefits any other branch gets mainly because the marines arnt their own branch lolool they are the Navy they are just a bunch of idiots who didnt graduate highschool who couldnt join any other branch so the gov't was like hey lets throw in a side branch called the marines *( my ass rides in navy equipment thank you very much ) and let any dumb redneck in and tell him hes jesus christ on a stick so we can send his crazy ass in first and not have to pay

  • Marines are trained by the Army Special Forces.

    Fuck off.

  • wrong my brother in the USMC dick dead

  • I will bet you a milliong dollars the Marine Recon is trained by none other than Army Special Forces. Dick head. Did you know most of Delta is made of Army and Seals? Not Marines or the Recon.

    I wonder why?

  • No being trained by Army Special Forces would be to good for Marines they still have to go to Ranger School to be Recon thats why theres so little Recon because they have to pass Army training and before that they have to do Army Airborne school. Delta is only Army because Navy has SEAL TEAM 6 which is a younger counter terrorist group like Delta but they were being trained by Delta so Army is were its at HOOAH!!!

  • HOOAH!!!

That is pretty much full truth bro!

it pisses me people don't realize this shit but oh well, WE know the truth.

    Private Adams, 35Foxtrot!

  • Cause we choose not to be a part of SOCOM, we don't work well in that organization. Which is why we made MARSOC, similar to SOCOM, but for marines only. Please take your fanboyistic crap, and go fuck yourself.

  • because recon is the marines command not even SF unitl you get to MARSOC lol your uninformed about the subject and you wouldnt know who or what is in delta force much less which countries in the U.N. they recruit from and what they mainly do these days you dumbass if your gonna go infantry go USMC if you want some other slightly combative job you go usaf or army

  • You obviously aren't informed yourself... Marsoc is only a higher Recon, so to speak. Go join a fucking branch before you spout shit. Recon is trained by US Army. All the Marine schools are OWNED and MAINTAINED by the ARMY. Army is truly the best of the best (of the best).

Rangers, Green Berets, Delta, hell, more Army people are in CIA.

Army has the most money, too.

Now, what branch do YOU serve with?

  • none yet im enlisting in the usaf or Usmc depending on who gives me the job I want. I dont claim to be associated with either but I have passed the PAST test with flying colors well enough to recive bonus just for going into a SF tryout and MARSOC isnt a high force recon lol MARSOC is controlled(owned) by USSOCOM force recon is the equivalant of lets say army rangers they are not operated by USSOCOM but by the USMC themselves and they are deployed as a resource amongst many other branches.

  • @lukesimianer

No.. MARSOC is owned by Marines. SOCOM is a combo of all the SF of the military. MARSOC answer to SOCOM, and also Marines.. But what you're saying is similar to Army Delta being controlled by CIA. Sure, they are, but they also answer to the Army as well.

  • omg you just said what I said in different words haha im not saying your retarded it jus bugs me when people talk mad shit and very few have even gotten as far as me in working towards passing an indoc course. and yes MARSOC is owned by USMC but they do more FID missions for the national community and u.s. security on foreign soil and recon is essentially a group of incredibly well trained jump and or scuba qualified infantry men who can accurately shoot/drive any weapon or car.

  • Ah... I see what you're saying. Fair enough. Now join your beloved corp. and I'll see you in the sandbox next year.

  • @khyea91 haha hell yeah man idk if you can put afghanistan on your wish list out of basic but I would ha what do you do if you dont mind me asking of course

  • 35 Foxtrot. Intelligence analyst. But I will be going through Ranger school, hopefully!

  • We aren't scared to fight unlike you faggots.

  • You just spout shit everywhere you go don't you you little shitbag "soldier". MARSOC isn't owned by Marines, when they tried to recruit me they broke it down to me telling me that you come from Marines, but your contract is terminated with the Marines and you're serving under SOCOM. Your precious little greeen berets are also under SOCOM. SEALs are also under SOCOM, obviously for the Navy. Delta does not answer to the CIA! CIA is on its OFP, and has nothing to do with military ops. Only intel.

  • They probably felt their time and the tax-payer's monety was better spent teaching the men the weapon system rather than spending it questioning their sexuality :).

  • this is a swedish weapon, we call it m/86 Pansarskott (tankshot)

  • no buddy it's a M136 AT4

  • its the same thing lol

  • i remember this range. we actually did this in red phase and got the shit smoked out of us later that night when we got back to the cta. i had a glorious time in Cco 1/329.

  • For you who are confused, At-4 is a swedish recoiless Anti-tank weapon. Its disposable weapon , so you can only use it once. weighs around 7 kilos .. And its a very simple weapon , even a 7 yo kid cold blast this one off , yeah its expensive. I have myself used this weapon a couple of times in the Swedish army.

  • It is recoiless but the blast and shock wave are tremendous.

  • soo true. i shot one live round in basic and it set off all the car alarms in the area.

  • You never fire and forget an AT4! If you leave the tube on the ground. The enemy will use it as a mortar tub. Destroy the damn thing then forget about it.

  • not sure how it could be used as a mortar tube since there is no end to it and the tube is not all smooth. Would make a dangerous mortar tube for the firer.

  • They make tubes out of anything they can find. He is right you should never dispose of anything like this. Again for opsec sakes i won't go into it but i saw a soldier lose his life over a similar situation.

  • The vietnese used the LAW tube filled it with gernades and a pin holding them in attached to a tripwire. Then they hung it in a tree. You know the rest.

  • yup....also the tube can be used to make a container for an IED...everytime in Iraq/Afghanistan after we used an AT4, at some point before we left the are we would smash the tube, run it over, place it with UXO's for a controlled det, whatever we had to do to break it into pieces.

  • I shot one AT-4, from what I heard, one AT-4 costs $4000. BACk blast all clear...lol

  • 1200

  • Is it me, or is the AT4 an expensive anti vehicle weapon?

  • do all soldier have training with these or just one hu do demolitions or w.e its called?

  • everyone, gets training on the at4

  • awsome! :) i love bazookas!

  • actuly bazooka is from ww2

  • Yup. 'Bazooka' Is a name for another anti-tank weapon, not any rocket launcher. This is the at-4. More modern. I'm pretty sure they're fire and forget, unlike bazookas where you could fire one, slap in another rocket and keep firing :D

  • fire and forget is different from disposable XD

  • "m-136"

  • lol you would be suprised

  • It is just a BT, they have to tell obvious things. US ARMY is the best army in the world!

  • B/c we have the sense to purchase the right weapons for the right mission.

  • Last time I checked the M16A4 or M4 didnt have as big of a round as the AK-47

  • but an m16 and the m4 have better acuracy then the ak47

  • @luisagarcia1991 the tavor has better than both.

  • @luisagarcia1991 anywhere under 200 yards that doesnt even matter. the ak is not that inaccurate.

  • @pze94 an ak is pretty damn accurate its just a bigger bullet that the m4/16

  • hahaha no you mean the bigest one but not the best

  • YES IT IS

  • Rofl.

    Warning: Aim away from face.

  • who try shot behind xD

  • the one instructing is not a Drill Sargeant, he's the Range Cadre, you'll encounter a lot of Range Cadre at each range you go to.

  • we are a department from the Navy....the men's department ;)

  • man the army is nice! nothing like Marine Corps training!!!

  • This is a swedish rocket launcher. In sweden it's named Pansarskott M86. This is some good shit :D i've shot it and damn what a blast

  • the drill sgts really are not bad in basic. you will see at the end of basic how comical they really are, its not bad.

  • my god if the trainers were like this I WOULD LOVE TO JOIN

  • Damn yourdrill insructors are nice people, come visit sweden, the'll shit you in the mouth, and you'll have to love it

  • That is United States drill instructors, you haven't seen the Marine Corps instructors.

  • rpg is a grenade that slides into the cylinder, itll slide out if you lean forward, and the AT 4 is a single use 84 mm (84, get it?) missle that stays locked in place until it is fired. I fired one out of basic, didn't expect the kick to be so violent and overshot my target, shot over the treeline and quite possibly into the Nisqually valley outside of Ft. Lewis. I felt like a retard.

  • I don't get it, what does 84 mean?

  • A T 4 , eight "T" 4 as in 84mm get it now?

  • How does this weapon compare to what the Russians use?? Are they still using the RPG??

  • Sweden made this thing. And the US use more in one traning, than sweden does in a month.

    DAMN DEFENCE CUTS!!

  • wow its so much different than marine training...wow.

  • Back Blast Area Clear!!!

  • hate to piss off those people

  • ah, this brings back memories

  • hmmmmmmmmmmm... if theres any at4 with ammo....and one guy fire.........

  • Made in Sweden :)

  • Matter of fact the 3rd Instructor the one in the woods, is MY HUSBAND!!!!

  • Neat!!! Saying my Husband taught this for 4 years at Fort Benning on this Range

  • did they get too Blow shit up!

  • I see dead people!! They can't even remember 3 safety tips lol.

  • -chuckles-he had a video recording company in basic too, like ya said,a rip off in price considering how much they missed, but still a nice record for 20 years from now.

  • Damn Bad memories...Ft Benning UGH!!!

  • all those at 4s

    :P:P:P

  • Fun to see, brings back memories from my military service in Sweden. I remembered when we stood in the basement of the regiment barracks with one of our captains as instructor and competed over how fast we could get it from a transport position on our backs to a position ready to fire.

  • I was there June to September 1997 D co 1/19 INF

I bought the video too but I don't have mine any more

  • dont like that AT4 too much..its only one shot then u gotta throw it down...SMAWs reloadable

  • There are 2 types of AT-4, basic AT-4 and the AT-4 CS which can fire 9mm x 20mm warheads that can be loaded into the AT-4 and it can be used up to 6 times before needing to be disposed of. Baring in mind 6 warheads is still a large amount, if one warhead can destroy a single tank and kill many people in it's blast radius, then imagine 6 of these. But hey i reccomend the SMAW and LAW, both lightweight and can be re-used.

  • did someone ask you a question or did you just start talking about a weapon out of nowhere so you can feel like you know alot

  • Then take 2? U still need to have ammo for the smaw.

  • its that a missile luncher!?

  • yeah, an unguided disposable anti-tank rocket.

  • ya think?!?!?!?!

  • lol black blast the unpritictibal weapon

  • so are you saying a enemy would sneak up on someone right before he/she fires a weapon wich produces back blast and gets own without anyone even knowing what happened?

  • He would suffer injuries to eyes, ears, burns. If he would be closer then 15 meters he could get killed. Safety distance in war is 15 meters. During training it is 50 meters. I would say I have fired around 5 or 6 of thoose. Then you have 9 mm and 20 mm training weapons with the same trajectory as the real one. The 9 and 20 mm can be reloaded again and again...

  • There's nothing more hilarious than haji who isn't familiar with "back blast". They usually become aware when they try and fire RPGs at a 90 degree angle (generally at aircraft). Blast bounces right back off the ground and owns them.

  • I have trained Swedish soldiers on the AT4 for over 15 years. Outdoors the back blast effect fade off after 15 meters. You can fire the AT4 from inside a room if you knock a hole in the opposite wall or if you can open a window behind you.

This is not just "talk" from my side I have done it myself and trained soldiers to do it. In a totally confined space you would hurt yourself if firing.

  • and now there is a new one that can be fired inside buildings. One with a saltwater damper on the rear right?

  • Right, the CS.

  • yep--- featured on Future weapons on the discovery channel

  • We're dead.......

  • you can't fire a AT4 indoors as the percussion force from the back-blast would rupture your internal organs, as well as getting burned to a crisp.

  • Heh, it's funny that you mention 'America's Army'. BCT is 'American's Army' is supposed to be Sand Hill, Ft. Benning, GA. But I can tell you from experience, it is not Sand Hill. Anyone that has been through BCT can tell you the AA is a pretty crude representation.

  • I think their training to use efficiently. You could read the instructions, but you won't use that great.

  • danm dude this is just like the game americas army

  • in real life the AT4 back blast can kill anything ...also if you hit a enemy with it the effect is nasty...also its a 1 use only shot and dump

  • it takes good technic to shoot an at4, but this is ridicoulous

  • kiskabobb, you are talking about the AT4 CS or Confined Space wich basically means that it can be fired inside of a building without any harm to the shooter.

  • my previous comment wasn't very clear. although i dont know the name of the new rocket, i know it uses water to cusion the shockwave made by the rocket. that means the shockwave emmited by the rocket is cusioned by the water that is simutaneously released with the rocket when launced; since water is a good absorbant of force, like when a bullet hits water, the bullet will rapidly deccelerate, or completely shatter, the same principle is applied to the rocket. the at4 hasnt changed. ok, there..

  • i heard they just made a new at-4 the old one you cant fire inside but the new one you can

  • no. it's just the type of round they use, its a new type of rocket.

  • o ok

  • NO , he is right, you CAN'T fire the AT4 inside you would die and anyonelse inside there with you aswell, learn your stuff.

The new AT4 cs (confined space) version you can use indoors it has saltwater pouch that catches the backblast.

  • boring

  • these "instructors" are tools...hah.

  • hmm, no handle in the front? I've never fired a live AT4 i've only seen it... did you also trained with the 9 mm and 20 mm AT4-trainer? The 20 mm was sweet with this backfire enhancer that makes it feel and sound very real... I was terrified after the first time I fired with that enhancer. One whole day with "how to handle the AT4"?! wow! My platoon spent 2 hours on that, then we went to the range....

  • mother army is so gay! a day of training, or even 2 hours??? for a weapon that has idiot proof instructions on it? give me a f*ckin break all you need to know is 100 x 90 then shoot someone in the face with it

  • Maybe you don't understand the fact that, some people don't understand.. Normal instuctions. This has alot to so with how well they listen, everything they do is for a reason. I would like to see you fight the us army, With your.."training"..

  • Well i cant say I have faught them in real life, but with many rotations to JRTC as both blue and opfor, I'd say the boys and I could run house on all conventional units.

Besides the at4 is a ghetto blaster. I prefer the Carl G and the BB on that piece is something to talk about. So check yourself hot rod, you have no idea with whom you are speaking

  • I guarntee you, that if you do what you say you would murder your whole platoon.

The back blast on that thing is huge, in confined space a sure killer.

This Btw is a swedish made anti-tank weapon :).

  • god, the one thing i just loved with the at4, was throwing it away after you fired it... skott kommer... right, gotta love the swedish army now...

  • ...yeah, you just have to remember to destroy the tube first...so it can't be used as a field expedient mortar tube.

  • The Army sounds like they dont have a pulse(min 2:40-2:42)well, like the old Gunnery SGT from the Marines would say " Sound off Like you got a pair numb nutts!!)oorah!

  • Come on....this was some of the most boring training you can get. A whole day spend on the AT-4?? These weren't drill sergeants doing the training either, it was Ft. Benning cadre. Not exactly the cream of the crop if you ask me.... no offense to any cadre out there.

  • glad i didn't have to go through that training. boring!

  • Got any videos from Foxtrot 150?

  • I went though OSUT in 98' - this brings back some memories. Any video from AO Yellow or Green?

  • Sorry, this is all I've got.

  • carl gustav rocks man... but not the most effective weapon around...

  • pansarskott m86... transport-, färdig- och avfyrningssäkring. Yeah, 3 years since I fired it live. I like it, but not much beats the feeling of fire Carl Gusav;)

  • carl g is a beast, wicked to fire
