Iraq used WMDs in the early 80s. So the USA had to do something about it in 2003? Maybe they could have done something in the 80s? Wait -- they did. Following Saddam's gassing of the Kurds, Reagn/Bush admin did take action -- they increased the amount of aid they were giving him.

The Iraq invasion had nothing to do with WMDs or concern for the Iraqi people
