You can thank ExeErdna for the dialog in this episode, for the characters. I just made the video, according to the dialog.
And yes, that is true. not many actually use flashbacks, and whatnot in their videos. To some, it's a waste of time, and effort, to really try. While others prefer, more up to date methods.
Myself in general, like to use Flashbacks in a way, where it incorporates the main story, and what it can actually be used for.
