its best to wear bright colors, white or neon green is probably the best, alllso the bugs go the the highest point of your body, Ive seen some people duct tape paper plates to there head and draw a face on it, lol, seemed to work until it got ripped off from a low branch
Blue doesn't attract anything but complements. Black though does attract hornets and wasps (because their only major natural predator is the black bear). Oh and it's also a myth that eating bananas attracts them. Oh, and that killing one hornet "angers" the others and causes them to sting you more.
I was definately dragging that day..... bugs, heat and humidity are the worst planting conditions for me. I'll take a cool spring rainy day anytime.
