Yes you can . There is co-op servers were you and 3 other players play it . there are versus servers were you can be boss zombies :)

i think that the player has too much life; it takes so many punches and bites from zombies to knock them over

Well you can play on higher dificulity levels . And the wich kills prity fast, mabe they want to let you live until the last battle ?
