I do know other people that really like their Fords. I do like the style of the F-series, but just can't get past the "insane" amount of trouble that I have had with Ford trucks in the past.

Im a dodge and chevy lover, i have a 97 F-350 7.3 liter i love it use it for work,
the 6.0's are garabage i had a 2006 got it used the truck failed i brought it my mechanics the head was gone it needed everything head gaskets, head studs, new EGR, and a new computer, so i got rid of it... the 6.4's arent any better...
@NikolaisoPaladino dont be so quick to the judge the 6.0 man ive got an 03 that has 182,000 miles and it pulls and works everyday hard and has never left me stranded ive got 2 other 6.0s in my fleet of lawn care trucks and they all pull like animals and will eat any stock truck of the same year for breakfast you either get good ones or bad ones ive got 3 unbelievable ones
@badassouthernboy I'm not one to quick judge but being in the Automotive service & repair industry I've seen a ton of stock 6.0's work trucks take a dive badly. Its great that your trucks don't have issues but the 6.0 is only a time bomb, but mainly it really comes down to how well you maintain them. A religously well maintaned 6.0 should last at least a 100,000 miles
@NikolaisoPaladino My dad has his own shop he specializes in the 6.0s being honest the number of 6.0L that come in isnt that high yes we see em alot ill tell you what you fix the things ford should did from day one (i.i improved or deleted egr system, STUDS, upgraded oil cooler) these things will run as long as any cummins my oldest 6.0 f350 dump truck has 380,000 on a deleted egr n cooler the main issue is ppl push em when they show signs of failure maitence is key on these bad boys

@NikolaisoPaladino Cummins is a great motor i used to own one we had alot of injection pump, tranny, and differential issues tho at 135,000 miles it dropped a valve in cylinder 4 and fried the motor thats when i went back to ford products after those major issues i lost respect for dodge and my personal opinion is the powerstroke is the best towing rig out there

@hplemoine 6.0 power stroke is a great motor. it just has a bad rep for a major problem when it first came out. Ford fixed it for the last couple years of its life, and otherwise it's a very reliable engine.
@hplemoine I have the badlander 06 regency and I'm currently on my 4th set of head gaskets and god knows how many other parts I've had to replace. The truck runs so cold for the first 3-4 min I dont know what to think and the dealship is so busy fixing all the other trucks like mine they sold that it stays in the shop for weeks at a time then to top it off you have to remove the cab of the truck so my sterio has to be rewired everytime they work on it..... not praticall if you ask me 2thumbs dwn
all i have to say is dont put that crap cummins on a dyno. From all the ones i have seen on youtube, and in person, the turbo blows up on the dyno. fricking dodge guys, they have no clue how to run their trucks on the dyno right. and if they do, they must be missing some gauges or something because they never see their $2000 turbo blowing up in their faces.

i own a 69 Ford pickup shortbed with 360engine (gas)an manual transmision and 326k miles no smoke the only major work, change the transmision clutch, i make work this truck like you no got idea but i change oil every 3k miles, the key word is maintaince on any vehicle.
okay gm trucks take on so many more miles my 2006 silverado has been a work truck its whole life already 170k my dads truck he just sold had 550k last one before that 450k and before that 350k the one he has now has 255k and its a 2003
diesel trucks can load up the miles regardless of the company.. i know plenty of Ford, Chevy, GMC, & Dodge diesel trucks that have 250k, 350k, 450k, 550k or more miles on them and they run great..
diesels are meant to run, have better torque, and are much more work-oriented than gas engines.
*gas engines usually dont last more than 250k/300k; though there are lucky people whose gas engines do endure such milage & still run as exceptions..
as for the video, i agree that Ford trucks tend to do better than the others & i just dont like Dodge, Chevy, GMC styles.. i think Ford trucks look the best; hands down.
plus, the Powerstroke is an awesome engine; my dad has a 6.0L Turbo Diesel in his 2005 F250 [crew cab & 8ft bed]. he has about 105k miles on it & he's had no problems with it at all; and it sounds great.

we did the same to our '97 4.6 F150, it was in our family till we sold it with 210k miles, mostly highway and lead footed haha....stil ran like a top. the only issue was a rebuilt tranny at about 150k but she was still in good condition for her age, and sold well too

all i have to say is dont put that crap cummins on a dyno. From all the ones i have seen on youtube, and in person, the turbo blows up on the dyno. fricking dodge guys, they have no clue how to run their trucks on the dyno right. and if they do, they must be missing some gauges or something because they never see their $2000 turbo blowing up in their faces.

I heard on the news today ford super duty is the most unsafe vehicle on the road and I think gas and diesel from ford suck gas spit plugs diesel well just get a Cummins haha.

hey cool video man!!I do not have a power stroke but i do know that they are good trucks i drive a cummins its a farcry from stock but i would also own a powerstroke with out thinking twice.Its fun to play in the mud i have some vids pulling chevys out and playing in the mud on here and its always funny to read all the trolls bashing trucks...guess we all need somthing to do eh? lol awesome work!

i am a chevy fan all the way, but i work for a landsacping co. and thats all we have is super duty and if you look around just about every landscaping co. have super duty. They use them because they last longer and less brake downs when they are under stress.

i own a 69 Ford pickup shortbed with 360engine (gas)an manual transmision and 326k miles no smoke the only major work, change the transmision clutch, i make work this truck like you no got idea but i change oil every 3k miles, the key word is maintaince on any vehicle.

okay gm trucks take on so many more miles my 2006 silverado has been a work truck its whole life already 170k my dads truck he just sold had 550k last one before that 450k and before that 350k the one he has now has 255k and its a 2003

they are probably diesel..
diesel trucks can load up the miles regardless of the company.. i know plenty of Ford, Chevy, GMC, & Dodge diesel trucks that have 250k, 350k, 450k, 550k or more miles on them and they run great..
diesels are meant to run, have better torque, and are much more work-oriented than gas engines.
*gas engines usually dont last more than 250k/300k; though there are lucky people whose gas engines do endure such milage & still run as exceptions..

as for the video, i agree that Ford trucks tend to do better than the others & i just dont like Dodge, Chevy, GMC styles.. i think Ford trucks look the best; hands down.
plus, the Powerstroke is an awesome engine; my dad has a 6.0L Turbo Diesel in his 2005 F250 [crew cab & 8ft bed]. he has about 105k miles on it & he's had no problems with it at all; and it sounds great.
*i like Ford trucks the best simply for the style, reliable service, reliable quality, and the Powerstroke diesel engine.

the highest mileage on a 7.3 i've seen has been 1 million 5 hundred 58 thousand miles. 1558k miles to make it simpler :)

my f150 has been through hell and back. snow, creeks, mud like you couldnt believe, towed several 8000 pound plus trailers, been abused to shit, pushed the redlines on that truck, broken far past the 100 on the speedometer and all of this without a stutter. 135,000 miles now and 10 years later and i will never regret my decision of buying ford. you bet your ass i will buy FORD for the rest of my life

we did the same to our '97 4.6 F150, it was in our family till we sold it with 210k miles, mostly highway and lead footed haha....stil ran like a top. the only issue was a rebuilt tranny at about 150k but she was still in good condition for her age, and sold well too

Don't have a SD. But I do have an 02 F150 that I use as a surveillance veh. It stands at 185k and last month I chased a kawasaki street bike in the backroads of north louisiana and was able to keep him in sight. Great job Ford!!!!
