Stunts are carefully choreographed, with WRC you are dealing with the unexpected over difficult terrain, over long periods of time at insane speeds, and that's before you factor in masters like Sebastian Leob and Petter Solberg. Last season was Block's first so he may well do better this year.

because its superimposed. if you have a look at the shot with the plane it is carefully place above the bike and the car so they never actually cross.

That Hercules is in a take-off cycle, but there is clearly no runway. Sure, it could possibly have taken off from the ground but why would there be an RAF Hercules in a boneyard in the first place?

Its simply there for the effect.

The aren't saying spfx as in the plane or cars were greenscreened in, they're saying that it had to be at least 2 or 3 takes. If you look at how close the car and motorcycle are in the slow-mo jump, and compare it to the perspective shot from diagonal and front, they are different distances. Also, the plane isn't in one of the shots that you should be able to see it.

There is a lot in this sequence to suggest that its just edit and special fx. The distance between the car and the bike differs enormously in each shot, as does the position of the sun, the cloud cover and the position of the aeroplane. The last majestic shot seems also to be two skies stitched together. But at this quality its difficult to tell or see, but I dont think it would be that impossible to pull off if you had all day and loads of fuel to work on it.

I tried sumthin simla to that, in our field we hav a huge dip that if going fast enough you can take off, we all had one to many drinks, a friend and myself took the diatsu 4x4 out and my bf on the quad bike, i went down this dip at about 50mph, took off and nose dived into the ground. No...you can see the plane pull away when the land the jump. The 'clouds' are the dust clouds from the bike. The smaller tyre size means a smaller cloud than that of the car.
