ok, i need help. im a HUGE fan of starcraft, so i downloaded two ISO files for starcraft, and Broodwar. Then i opened DEAMON tool, and it said i needed a drive. so i created a DT virtual drive (whatever that is) and i clicked "mount image". once that happend, the file opened, then i clicked on "Install" and an error poped up and said "This application has encountered a critical error: The perrimeter is incorrect. Program: INSTALL.EXE File:INSTALL.EXE Press ok to terminate the program. Help plz.

@AsithMahatHD I would fast-forward if what they were typing wasn't important, but it is. it's the explanation of what they're doing. plus if i skip ahead too much and miss what they say, then it takes even longer than just watching them type. Seriously, why is my solution such a problem to you? It would make these things go a ton faster (i've seen some of these tutorials done the way i described. cuts the time in half and it's easier to watch)

When they say that you need to mount the game it means that you use this program to "mount" the game like it was a physical cd that you put in the drive. A crack is for when you want to play the game without the cd in it. The reason why this is needed is because you don't have that physical cd. The crack can be found when you mount the game, usually they will give you instructions but just browse the mounted game cd and you can find it.

You can also try gamejackal, that worked great for me and is VERY easy to use. took me about 10 minutes to figure out how to use it, and then about an hour to make virtual drives for all my games.

That is the point of WHY you mount with Daemon Tools, to make your computer think that the installation cd is in a Virtual CD drive.

When you want to run the game after installing, unmount all of the cd's and then mount the first cd only! Another possibility (only if there's 4 cd's) would be to mount the 4th cd. If those don't work for you, you need to download a c r a c k  for the game.

Download the game crack, then put the crack were the readme tells you to. If you have COD4, then you'd need to download a crack for it and then replace the original game file with the crack, and then run the crack.
