have you developed a way of automatically retracting the claws, or does it have to be done manually?

@achmedda3rd These particular ones are manual, but if you check my animatronic predator gaunts I make I can do it easy but untill someone commissions automatic wolverine claws Ill continue to make them like this version which are by far the much nicer than any0ne elses which seem to be made using draw runners and junk aluminum

thiese are hand forged from 316L marine grade stainless steel with forged saminagashi blades the straps were unfinished in the vid though, Regards D

@MegaEggman10 the blades extend faster than you can flinch, and this is a week spring just for the vid in which at the time these were unfinished

@BravelyBoldSirRobbin Thanks, there was alot of work involved in forging these and the bonus is the blades also lock out.sadly in this vid they were not quite finished and a bit tight and needed some beding in,,,cheers for your commnent :)

How did you structure the spring loaded mechanism? Where does the spring go when the claws are extended?

Maybe a more compact version in time and you could fit under a latex hand glove, thus having the blades come out from the skin effect. Great job on the these one's though

@MrFozzyBear The blade clearance is only 5mm from the arm including the brace so you wont get much closer to the forarm at all

Looks to me like a work in progress. Great creation though, I've got to ask: Considering that they're not made with the illusion of them coming out from between the wearers knuckles, would this be more apt to quantify it as, say....Ninja claws of some sort?
