this could put me in a trance. and I know they like enthusiastic crowds, not dead ones, but a this part I have to agree with some of the other ppl's comments. I think that not only for respect, but for the mere chance to "feel" Kyo; everyone should of shut up for the solo. If you know what I mean to "feel" it. I think if I was there it would have sent cold chills through my body. It pretty much does just watching it on here. Wish I could have been there for this.
yes i agreee. ugh i saw them on sunday and everyone started to scream when he did and acapella in conceived sorrow and i couldnt hear a thing! i was so mad because i wanted to hear him so badly. and i dont like when people sing along. i mean i know you know all the words but half the time all i can hear is them singing and not kyo. please for other fans. save the singing for your bedroom.
haha that last comment was funny and i agree he does have great abs!!! but anyways i love it when kyo does this. i only managed to get like 50 sec of it.
@slipknotauron24 He's gotten taller too. I did meet and greet with them a few years apart and he's almost to my height. I think they've all gained a bit of weight. Thanks a lot American food!
I'll let you know that in Milwaukee on June 16th Kyo did his acapella and the crowd was amazing, it was dead fricking silent and they actually showed immense respect to kyo. How the hell can you enjoy such a unique spectacle when everyone is screaming and cheering. Some of the Chicago folks who came and saw the Milwaukee show said the same thing about the crowd being way cooler and the band exhibiting more energy. (continued below)
I think the band's performance really is influenced by the crowd, and the crowd in Milwaukee was exemplary in that respect. It actually sent chills down my spine to hear that in complete silence. The person who took this video really shows great disregard for the bands wishes in my opinion, and immaturity because of the obvious "importance" of holding a lighter. I realize one may just want to have fun, but come on! Show a little freaking TRUE appreciation please.
Possibly one of the best concerts I've ever seen, if Fall of Troy didn't destroy my ears right before Dir en grey got on. Haha, I didn't even stay for the Deftones. This was the coolest part. It was "surreal," as described by a friend of mine. Too true. :D
You're the best for uploading this. I love you. ;D
You know how much it would suck for any band to not hear from the crowd. Making noise is the only way to show them your feedback at a concert. It would've been a totally crappy experience for Dir if they flew all the way here and heard nothing from the American crowd.
I was on the left hand side of the stage that show ruled it was funny how many people went there just to see dir then left , but the signing was nutz the security just shoved everyone past die. They have to come back soon and bring despairs ray or gazette or girugamesh someone else and just have a huge jrock concert...!!!
I know!! I felt bad for him. But he did get a break when I came up! Cause I handed him my Macabre tour banner to sign, and he paused, looked at it for a while, then got a HUGE smile on his face and signed it in HUGE ass letters.

I can't remember very well but I think SF was pretty quiet during Kyo's accaeplla.
I think we were all just going 0.0 and shivering, though, so it's ok.

I agree with WristCut... you should NEVER scream when someone is singing acapella. It's RUDE.
But that show... was incredible. I loved every minute of it! I STILL can't believe I actually got to see them.
AurionsRain 4 years ago
that acapella, you just felt it wherever you were @ in that place.. its crazy.
