the idea that "the street" is the best place to learn is a joke. How many of the top european footballers (and if you didnt notice european nations domonated the last world cup) have been anywhere near "the street" you talk about. Most of them where playing in academies at the age of ten at the latest. and most also from middle class families, so stop branding about this rages to riches type "street skills" story. Want proof?the whole spanish, german and dutch football teams. 3of4 semis at WC
@lfeddern What a load of rubbish. It's a fact that football is a working class sport, maybe this will change in the future but I'm sorry you are so far wrong with that comment! Maybe your meaning rugby instead?
@premcarcare1 working class sport in england, which if you haven't noticed arn't one of the teams that I quote from my original comment "dominated the last world cup". Plus this is not a class issue< for example working class people that are very successful e.g. messi were in academies from a very young age, not "playing on the street" as claimed.
@premcarcare1 my mention of class had nothing to do with who prodominatly played the sport, just stating that the idea that everyone that is successfull is working class is not true.
@lfeddern oh and i suppose you know the background of each player on all three of these teams.? As for working class european sides. check the English team and how many of the players fathers where working class citizens
@chronicganja how dumb are you? my point was that england are terrible...also my comments have nothing to do with class... merely that kids that make it nowadays grow up playing football in academies and middle class players are an example of players that didnt grow up on "the street"in some fifa street esc style that others suggested. All current dominant interntional teams have best academy set-up e.g. spain, germany. So learn to read the previous comments before making up ill informed 1
hahahhahaa fuckin asians how the fuck does this work or how will it improve your skill in any way just play in the block street style and u will learn the true technique
but dont forget about being physical which is very important these days if youre trying to go pro joga bonito ronaldo style
@danichill90 you're as dumb as they come, even professionals do this. yes many may have come from playing in the street but even at the top training facilities they do this. Professionals only learned on the street because it was the only option not the best way to do it.
@nick1177 to be fair mate the streets are the best place to learn technique, touch and close control. Maybe not passing, tackling, finishing and crossing etc. You cannot learn technique as well on grass. Technique is learned on the streets, cause its harder to do with studs, and also less slippery on the streets. But mastering it is done on the grass.
Very good i use this often just after warm up or b4
the concept of this exercise isnt speed only, its coordination-concentration -alert-pasiing and when the ladder's ready u can finish with a short sprint.
I suppose it should have been tiltled as "quickness" rather than "speed". They are two different things. For example, Pele had speed but Maradona had quickness.
the closest teammate foot (from the right by right foot and viceversa) should pass the ball back, not the farest, an opponent could easly cut the pass because u don't protect the ball with your body as a shield.
Hello guys more and nice training tips in my video! AND NICE FREEKICKS watch?v=oqY_xUzxSGQ check it out, I KNOW YOU WILL LOVE IT.

when you play football you play first with the brain and then with feet and athletic abilities.

@xxtriple6789 That's fine if you want a person who can only dribble but a player who can only dribble is maybe 1/10th of a real player.
