I dunno, as a kid I used to make fun of the Mexican national anthem with my friends (obviously with our teachers just freaking out), and, to be honest, I still don't see anything special about any country's "very very special song". Personally I think Americans get a little too nationalistic and hysterical when someone doesn't show absolute and solemn respect to their flag/song/constitution etc.
