Why isn't there any know big black preachers teaching Calvinism? they are all white, simply search through tube here and find plenty of them

Wikipedia, Calvinism, scroll down to where is says those who are believers in it, see all the names, click on the names, all are white males.

1. You actually knew what you were talking about. Thabiti Anyabwile, Tony Carter, Anthony Bradley, Ken Jones, Eric Redmond, Dr. Bowie are all African-American. Matter of fact, if you dig back further, look up Jupiter Hammond.

2. White, black, yellow or green has nothing to do with whether or not scripture teaches the doctrines of grace.

Therefore: your comment is about as useful as a sack of wet mice or a square wheel on a stock car.

What's disrespectful is when people assume that all the 'intricate details' that God has revealed about Himself for our benefit are 'useless'. I'm sure you don't treat your wife like that and think all details about her are 'useless'. Instead, you love her so you take the time to learn all the 'intricate details' about her. Don't be wise in your own eyes.

Yes, God creates man knowing which man will choose the path to salvation and become "elect" and which ones will not.. But God is omnipotent!! So do not questions his authority!! If he wants to create humans into a post-life of pain and eternal punishment... Don't you DARE question his authority to play games with the human conscious..!!

Actually, what you posted is not what election is. Election is God choosing, not man choosing to become. On the flip side, your question actually comes across as pretentious and foolish - what does God owe you to choose you for heaven or hell ? Think carefully and read your bible before you come back with an answer.

excellent work. when i was pastoring this past year i taught a systematic theology class for adults on wed nights. the average lay person simply has no conception of theology, properly, and its sad--they are being ripped off, in essence. By the way, BlackCalvinist, if you havent already read "The Faithful Preacher", by Thabiti Anywabile (sp?) you may want to.--it profiles three "black calvinists" (puritans) from the slavery era, including the first president of the NAACP, Francis Grimke.. :)

That's not Trinitarianism. That's an early heresy called modalism. The Assemblies of God kicked out all the modalists (also known as Oneness Pentecostals) in 1920.

1 John 5:7 Its taken out saying its a interpolation, fabrication, thrown out the RSV bible.

32 scholars of the hightest eminence, backed by 50 co-operating denominations took it out the bible saying its not the word of God.

Did you say that in love and in gentleness or with ego and the flesh? It seems as though you should probably have exercised the same or similar restraint as Mr/Ms Christianpreachr.

It's important to make certain you practice what you preach, to the T, particularly when dealing with people no matter the religious/spiritual beliefs. You'll soon discredit yourself and everything you stand for when you fail to do this.

Actually, 1 John 5:7 wouldn't be the best. Textually, the KJV and NKJV reading don't have very much support in the greek text...and even in the latin text, it doesn't have support back beyond the 4-5th century. Thankfully, the doctrine of the Trinity doesn't rest on 1 John 5:7, but on all of scripture. :) Isaiah 48:12-16 is still my favorite.

How can they be not the same person and yet they are the same God? Who was Christ praying too? I have read the bible cover to cover and have never found any verse that points to the Holy Trinity. One in purpose not body.

Re-watch the video, BigD. Watch Part 2 and the upcoming part 3. They'll help you. Just because you've skipped by the doctrine of the Trinity doesn't mean it isn't there. Maybe you need new eyes.

I have read the versus that say God and Christ are one, but it always says after that that they mean in purpose. For the 2-3 that say they are one there are 1000's that say otherwise.

No it doesn't. You 'read' the word 'purpose' into the text. For example, John 5:18-23 say nothing about purpose.... but they do say that everyone should honor the Son the same way they honor the Father.

I was very happy to see a black presenting the gospel without a lot of emotions, screaming and excitement. I think that we need to clearly understand the scripture without allowing our emotions to interfere with what God has for us. Keep up the good work and may our Lord bless you!

Good stuff, I really enjoyed the video. One point of criticism... I would avoid the term 'separate' in reference to the Persons of the Trinity. 'Distinct' is more appropriate. If we posit a 'separation' of any kind then the door to tri-theism has been opened. I understand this was not your intention but obviously we need to be very careful with our terms. As you said in point 1 -- We need to reverence the God we're speaking of.

Now this is interesting...I am not a 5 pointer but I believe in portions of Calvinism to be sure....and I havn't known to many Calvinists from African background though on the Whitehorse Inn and their panel, their is a panel that includes a Black American Gentlemen...its interesting that reform theology hasn't penetrated the Black Community all that much...or am I incorrect about that??? My Dentis t is West African and I think he leans to Calvinsim.....
